Works well Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Do the job. I use omnibox, and it's ok to use with it (or without).
If you don't have the icon in the bar, it probably means there is compability problems with your Firefox version, because I have the last one, and all is fine. Just install, and I can see the favicon in the bar, no need to do whatever.
If it's fail, you have also "Site favicon in the URL bar" you can try.

Works, only you should put the icon some pixels on right as it sits partially (1/4) on back button (round default of australis)

I'll echo what several others have said. there is no way to initiate the addon. no icon, no menu entry. nothing. it is a worthless addon.

Very good add-on!

Still worth installing Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Used this for ages, was a real improvement originally, but iiuc now only change https favions? would have to test a few more profiles with/without to properly compare, but wrote a script to allow a few things like auto-hide, auto-collapse etc, and this addons still required for all sites using that, so still consider this a great addon. thanks

btw a good companion addon for this is Site Identity Button Colors

On Firefox 29, the favicon now sits right next to/slightly behind the back button with no padding or spacing between them. Works fine with the forward button though. This is a minor annoyance, but an annoyance nonetheless.

How do I use it? There's no hint anywhere?

Really suit well!!! Bests.

Pretty. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Use it together with the Ident. Button Colors. It is for sure more pretty the have the sites Favicon up together with the Ident.

Works great, thank you my friend!!

Favicon Restorer, Great! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Nice easy way to create shortcuts again. It was stupid and inconvenient for Firefox to remove it! I have such a love hate relationship with Firefox. :)

Does what it was built to do... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

and does so flawlessly. What more could one want? Wouldn't NEED it if Mozi would quit screwing things up as they go along...EDIT: To Alex M--move to Pale Moon--it's what Fx USED to be, and Moonchild, the Developer, intends to keep it that way! I promise you'll not regret it!

And I must mention: What a *class act* for the Dev (jooliaan) to respond in such a magnanimous and helpful manner to ssokolow's critique (below).

Excellent! all my bookmarks looked naked after a sync of a fresh install of Firefox on a new machine and Favicon Restorer went out and grabbed all the icons. Works great!

A must have Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The address bar is still the most visible part of the browser (at least for me) - so thank you for restoring what was maliciously removed without our request.

When you have over five tabs opened you cannot instantly see/understand what website is currently opened - this extension makes everything sensible again.

Bring a little color back to Firefox's drab AwesomeBar.

Всё отлично, иконки появились! Спасибо за хорошее дополнение.

Excellent, thank you. What is funny is that the "new" bar that is supposed to reduce spoofing makes it VERY hard to see if it's encrypted or not. This add-on helps with that too.
