DoNotTrackMe and sheldon in the big bang theory Rated 2 out of 5 stars

ABINE is clearly impervious to the almost continuous, constructive, positive and kindly feedback, and intransigently refuses to redesign it's add-on, but stolidly, perhaps in part with the mentality of a bureaucrat, refuses to change

THEIR replies, and those of the legion of "supporters", who curiously pop-up at the opportune moment, seem simply ensnared by their egos, and impervious to sound feedback

I see comparison with sheldon from "the big bang theory" tv series

EXAMPLES of add-ons i like, which are easy to use, and configure, and in which their designers incorporate consttuctive feedback into redesigns are flagfox, noscript and removeitpermanently

I'M not using DNTMe currently

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.1.1038.1-signed).

Dear Sir

We listen to all the feedback, and take it very very seriously. We respond to all of it and take action on the constructive feedback. We're looking into what to redesign to make it easier for people to change their settings and see exactly what they want.
We try very hard to listen and to make things that you and everyone want. Your particulary feedback on how you'd specifically like DNTME redesigned can be sent directly to the CEO - rob at abine dot com. #nobeaurocrazy.

PPS muddled/confusing interface/configuration Rated 2 out of 5 stars

continuation of my earlier comments
i reconsidered my two prior posts
i can simplifiy my comments
the interface is clumsy and cumbersome
nothing more really need be said by me on that point
it's self evident to me
read what i've written previously in light of that
i gather it works

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.1.1030.1-signed).

Thanks for feedback

We appreciate all the critical feedback. If you're having a problem finding settings, please see this:

Please write us directly to give us further feedback on the interface.
Also, you should try to only review each product version one time.

FIREFOX: it's not clear to me, how to continue thread at this site, so i wrote a new review, but please treat it as a continuation of the prior thread, with the same title, earlier today

abine my review lacked specifics

i will add donottrackme again later, soon, and set out the concerns i had in detail

that is the correct and fair thing to do

in passing, i am using ff 26.0 and was using the latest version of DoNotTrackMe

i just searched ff add-ons for it to find the version number
ff responded,
"could not find any matching add-ons"

anyhow it was the latest
a version 3 etc

i will get back with explicit detail

muddled/confusing interface/configuration Rated 2 out of 5 stars

i find the set-up interface very, very muddled, and confusing; what's free, what's not; no default, with all included; not easy to view a complete list of options; i selected some, but they were not accepted as shown from a refresh, list extends way down on a right hand side column, way below the foot of the page, so minimized the page to see all, and the text became microprint size; my electron microscope is out on load, so in exasperation, i gave up

have used it for quite some time; reviewed this add-on; thus above review; disabled, ie not removed

despite above appreciate the effort put into this add-on, but comments still stand

suggestion: make a simple, and easy to use interface

can you let us know what you were trying to do

please contact us in support if you'd like. Everything that was formerly part of DoNotTrackMe is still free + more new stuff is free.
Can you email us in support to tell us what other problems you were having specifically it sounds like you didn't see a particular setting take effect? Thanks.
