Can you add keybinding for "Previous Tab" and "Next Tab"?

Not stable enough and no actual improvement for too long! Rated 2 out of 5 stars

A good idea but this addon is missing a lot of feature to be really useful:
- no import/export backups of modified shortcuts. This is really missing as this addon looks unstable or like loosing track of configuration after any release or after any update of firefox (to be figured out)
- no way to simply delete (deactivate) any original shortcut. As a simple user, I do not use any developper feature and I would like to deactivate any shortcut related to these developper feature (web consolde, debugger, etc.)

Finally, due to its instability, I gave up using it being bored to loose customizations so often without any change to simply import that customization

Request for 2 shortcuts for same functionality Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Hi Tim.

Would it possible to provide option for setting 2 shortcuts for same functionality? Am looking to set Ctrl+C and Ctrl+Shift+C for copy.

breaks the options dialog in Cyberfox, probably because of some tabs being removed from Cyberfox

need to be able to unset bindings

Too basic Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Works, but there's no easy way to unbind and customization is sketchy, had to try about 5 times to get a key binding to work.

Backspace changes page Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I got this add-on specifically to disable the ability of "backspace" to move my browser back to a previous page. And it's not even on the list! Why? Can it be added because I'd really like disable it. I'm tired of creating a comment, backspacing for a correction, and then finding myself on a previous page with my comment lost.

You don't need an add-on for that. Just take a look at http://kb.mozillazine.org/Browser.backspace_action, you can set the pref to "2" for example to completely disable any linked behavior.

A nice looking Shortcuts tab/window is added to FF's Preferences. If you want to use your keyboard efficiently and be able to review and change shortcuts this is a must have. Basic stuff for any modern UI.

Great extension that is perfect to set up for closing tabs.

Why not make the "open link in new tab" and "open link in new window" just pressing a key and clicking the mouse on the link?
It's very uncomfortable - to click on the link, right-and then choose from the drop down menu the desired function! Please think about it.

Thank you for Good addon. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Search function makes disabled after I installed BetterPrivacy.
Invisible key setting exist.

Cant type specific letters in text fields anymore. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Nice Addon, must have!

But cant type small German "Umlaute äöü" in every FF text field anymore. Capital letters works without deactivating this addon ÄÖÜ.

And how can i completely reset this addon?

This seems like something that regressed in Firefox 32. Currently investigating. https://github.com/ttaubert/customizable-shortcuts/issues/66

Brilliant addon!

Having small trouble Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I have a very small screen in my labtop and would like to be able to hide and display ( using a shortcut ) my bookmark toolbar (toolbar, not menu). I couldn't find a way to do this after installing the add-on.

Sorry this add-on was written purely to modify existing shortcuts.

very regrettable.... Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Why, there is not "Next Tab (Ctrl+Tab)"?

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I only downloaded this so I could remove the backspace shortcut stop navigating backwards on a web page. I can't tell you how many times I have lost a whole blog or post to that damn button!! Is there any way of removing a navigation button?? I really don't even need one I always use the macro on the browser to navigate anyway!! Anybody? Thanks

You can set the preference "browser.backspace_action" to "2" to disable browser actions for the backspace key altogether:

Does not work on Firefox ESR (24)

Love this, but one big "BUT..." Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Using this with GMail with Firefox 28 and 29, it "breaks" my ability to use Control-b for BOLD and Control-i for italics etc when composing a gmail email.

When I turn off the add on, I get my control-b bold and control-i italics back.

Too bad!
Any chance this will get fixed? If so I would love to turn this little plug in back on so that I can customize some of the other functions!

Tim, I tried to contact you about this by email to ask if you might fix it or if perhaps there is something I am doing to cause it, but I see no way to contact you.

If you fix this, I will revise my review to 5 stars!

Works fine Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thank you, works fine (Firefox 29.0.1)!

We can use this with keyconfig at same time to disable shortcut Rated 5 out of 5 stars

'keyconfig' can disable each short cut but this one is not able to

Does just what it says on the box, though it would be nice to have it in about:preferences as well.

If at all possible I'd like to have a way of adding shortcuts for toolbar items etc, and the ability to remove them (and pre-existing shortcuts).
