Simply Awesome! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
All I wanted was to stop the "forward" button from going away, and there's a checkbox in this add-on for precisely that! I have all the modern UI, but I still get to keep my forward button. Perfection!
Almost perfect Rated 4 out of 5 stars
If there was an option to apply the Thunderbird Bright theme to the two titlebar buttons that launch Calendars and Tasks then this would be perfect, especially if used in combination with GlassMyBird
You can add CTBs toolbar button style to Lightnings 'calendar tab' and 'task tab' buttons on tabs toolbar. Go to CTBs options page an select the "classic style for tab toolbar buttons".

Is is possible to hide this bar?
Add this code to a Stylish style to remove that separator:
margin-inline-start: 0px !important;
border-inline-start: 0px solid !important;
border-image: unset !important;
border-image-slice: 0 !important;
I will add it to CTBs "classic style for old large/small buttons" options on next update.
Last suggestion Rated 5 out of 5 stars
First of all, I would like to thank you for the response and I understand the copyright limitation. I'm going to send a suggestion that is within limits: the "default toolbar buttons" option in the "Classic style for" section is missing. I like to highlight the OSX effect on these buttons and do not have this option.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.3). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
You get toolbars default state, if you set that option to "disabled". This equals the state when CTB is not installed.
Navigation toolbar and other toolbars have different default/disabled states.

It works great with my themes.
It is also not only restores the classic buttons, but also has many useful features (for example: to increase the buttons for custom sizes), the settings! you must have the add-on!
One add-back needed for Version 1.5.4 on LinUX Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I have been testing Beta Version 1.5.4b2 on two systems running, severally, Ubuntu® 16.04.1-LTS (LinUX Kernel Family 4.4.0-49-generic as of 21 November 2016) and Microsoft® Windows® 10 Build 1607 10.0.14393.447. All systems go for both so far. On previous versions I found the "restore forward button" feature to work properly on both rigs, and this would be of use for those needing a stable but compact complete URLbar on any OS Mozilla supports. All other functions this Extension work as advertised.
Update, 24 November 2016: In Beta Version 1.5.4b3, both "Navigation Toolbar Buttons: OSX" in Classic Style For... and "Restore hidden forward button" in Other Tweaks up and working as advertised.
I will look into it.

What about Linux? Rated 5 out of 5 stars
In another thread about Mac, you have to figure for every one person who's taking the time to write a post, there's probably at least 1000 who don't post and just move on to find something similar.
I'd love to use this, if it worked in Linux.
Linux support is present for a while on beta channel.
I uploaded CTB 1.5.3 today for all OS. Once it got reviewed it will appear on the main page, but you can install 1.5.3beta5 from here: https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/cstbb/versions/

MacOS native buttons? Rated 5 out of 5 stars
The extension works great. I've been using it forever (before the current betas, I used to slightly mod the windows version).
Now, I'd be happy to make a small donation to the project if you could update the add-on to include MacOS native looking buttons - I could even provide the image files for it - even though is not exactly the point of it.
Extension signing broke my modding habits. :(
Since there are a few requests to add "better" support for MacOSX, I experimented with some code for navigation toolbar buttons.
Next CTB beta will replace the currently broken "simple" navigation toolbar button style with default toolbar buttons style Firefox offers for "hovered" state on MacOS.
"Old" MacOS buttons where atually fixed button images, while creating button shapes now is done by css code to keep better compatibility between Firefox versions and to save space. Not sure, if fixed images would still work the way they did, but as you said, this might be a feature for another add-on.
macOS Support? Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I'm wanting something like the old Firefox macOS icons. However, you don't have support. I'm asking if you could get it on full support instead of limited?This review is for a previous version of the add-on (188.8.131.52).
You can install CTBs beta versions on Firefox for MacOS and only use the icon options. https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/cstbb/versions/
The add-on is on limited support for MacOS and Linux, because it is intended to offer old Windows features for Windows version of Firefox. Not everything possible on one OS is working the same way on another OS.
You can use all CTB options on MacOS, but some might not work properly, others however to work correctly. There is no reason not to install beta versions as they are the same as the default release version (last beta=release), but only tested on Windows by AMO editors.

Classic Toolbar Buttons for TB Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Is it possible to make/use bigger toolbar button pictures. I'd prefer 24pix. (I have used xpDefault theme, but author stopped its support from TB 45. It used 24pix icons and they were better seen). Not being a programmer I tried to replace tb_mail_tb3_strata.png with bigger icons but all icons disappeared from toolbar at all :)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.0).
The default icon size is/was 16x16 - 18x18 px since a long time and CTB only replaces current icons without messing around with their dimensions.
Most Thunderbird themes are still working in Tb 45+. You have to download them (xpi/jar file), rename .xpi/.jar to .zip, unpack the file, open install.rdf in a text editor, replace the "maxver" with a higher version number, repack them again and move the zip file into Thunderbirds add-on manager to install it.
Status 4 Evar support? Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I would appreciate it if you add Classical-shaped Buttons support for the Status Bar in Status 4 evar Addon :)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.0).
Next build will cover S4Es status bar too, when "add-on bars" option is active.

Great Add On! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I love the flexibility this gives me on changing the layout of Firefox! My only request is the option of using "Modern red/orange/green/etc Icon" for all the navigation buttons, similar to the download button. That way I'd be able to match my forward, back, stop, refresh, and home buttons to my theme.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (22.214.171.124).
OMG THANK YOU Rated 5 out of 5 stars
