Fake Cookies Rated 3 out of 5 stars

isnt there the possibility to simulate the allowance of cookies, so that e.g. firefox.com would believes that cookies are enabled? :)
Perhaps it could be set but then immediately deleted?
is thsi possible? :)
thx

Fast v1.8 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great Addon
This version is fast and without a freeze.
but i think synchronize native cookies viewer window doesn't work

Really slow all of a sudden Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I used to love this plug-in. But it has suddenly gotten much slower - every time I type a character to search for a cookie it churns and churns while trying to narrow down to the cookies that match. IT is pretty useless now. Please get it back to its previous great performance.

Firefox 45.1
Addon v1.7.1

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.7.1).

v1.8 should fix the performance issue, hopefully it's not much slower then v1.5.2 was. On my computer I see no difference in performance between the two, however even v1.7.1 was only slightly slower, so keeping my fingers crossed.

Not working inf FF46 Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This addon stopped working on recent FF versions. I can't display any cookies anymore.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.7.1).  This user has a previous review of this add-on.

v1.8 should be available tomorrow.

Boo.... Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Bugs, bugs, bugs... Already listed before. Looks like you're not testing at all own made extension o_O I go back to previous version.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.7.1).

You probably won't believe me, but I've intensively tested it on every browser version it supported and it was slightly slower then previous version, but nothing major. Evidently real world results are different, the HTML5 cookies is the culprit why it's so slow for many users.
v1.8 should fix this.

v1.8 should fix the mess v1.7 was

To those experiencing high CPU usage with 1.7... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Version 1.7 added local storage "cookies" to the list, and if your local storage is chock full of a zillion items, this might be causing the problem. Hide local storage by clicking the down arrow button directly left of Refresh and unchecking Local storage, and see if that helps any.

Unrelated, and this is an extremely minor nitpick, my check boxes are missing their right-hand line to complete the square. It's like the field containing them is one pixel too narrow. It's also rather strange that the boxes are checked by default when not selected. Checking the check box heading selects all cookies but removes all checks. This is very unintuitive behavior.

Would you please submit this issue with more details about your system at

Thanks.

Last update Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Agree with previous review, great addon now become really slow, and lock up my browser with 100% CPU for about 1 minute. Then firefox throw the dialog to stop JS.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.7.1).

HTML5 cookies was the issue. v1.8 should solve the performance issue by removing HTML5 cookies support.

Once great addon ruined Rated 1 out of 5 stars

The new version of this addon introduces new features, yet these features have only slowed it down and caused it to lock up the browser sometimes temporarily, other times bad enough that it needs to be closed. Something useful that I used every day is now a broken mess. This version is just not ready.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.7.1).

Sorry about that. Evidently testing it on some-what fresh profile is not the same as on every-day-use profile. v1.8 however should solve the performance issue.

Some issues with new v1.7 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hey, there are some issues with the new version. I reported a new issue on github (62). Mentioning here as not sure whether you still use github.

Broken in FF 46 Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great Add-on. I have used for years, however its most important function, the ability to Backup / Restore cookies is broken with FF 46. Also cookies screen opens up as a blank screen until I hit the refresh button.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.2.1-signed.1-signed).

A new version was submitted to Mozilla for a review yesterday and hopefully will be approved and available today or tomorrow.

Glad you like that avatar/image Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I couldn't find an email and don't have a problem with you usiing it. But I just HAD to admit I created him/her/whatever. He/she/it was my creation.I call it "Tawny." Believe it or not, this image has survived since 1998 after only sharing it with a few people on IRC.It fulfilled its purpose of getting horny guys to buzz off. :) The shock value was priceless. I appreciate your work on the plugin and wish you would update it. I went with "Self-Destructing Cookies" since it's automatic..I find that cookies are rarely ever needed between sessions and keeping old ones just permits web companies to track you over time easier. Wish there was a way to stop Google from tracking us, but it seems like I'm the only one who despises that.

Thank you for the image. I've found this image and been using it since 2001.
It's a good personality gauge of a person looking at it, if they find it funny - they generally turn out to have sense of humor, open minded and just be great people. If they find it disgusting/repulsive/offensive - then they tend to have dull sense of humor, narrow minded and easily offended, aka people I try to avoid..
P.S.
The contact email can be find on the right side of "About this Add-on" section of addon's page.

Did not work Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Looks like it would be very useful.

But I tried going to wikipedia.org, then selecting a few cookies, and instructed the extension to delete them and block them.

It had no effect. That site could continue to create cookies. :-(

This messed up my cookielist Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Had (and still have) a problem with a cookie.
Tried a full backup (thinking i could restore it all).
Deleted the whole list, and tried to restore.
BUT, the restore did NOT work, now i lost all my cookies.
Tnx very much.

not so handy Rated 1 out of 5 stars

When i select the ones i want to delete you realy realy realy need to make sure you click on the checkbox if not your selection is gone. This is very very very anoying, and after a few tries and a few mis clicks i gave up.
So its not for me.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.2.1-signed.1-signed).

If the size of checkboxes is the issue (for some they appear "squished") then it should be fixed in v1.7
Otherwise, you can always hold CTRL to select multiple cookies one-by-one, or SHIFT to select a block of cookies.

convenient Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I could modify the expire time for many cookies in bulk by using this extension. Thank you!

Did the trick! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

When google was first offering invites to people who had google accounts to the new google maps,I didn't have a google account. So,I got the cookie editor, looked at a tutorial on how to change google map's cookies, and got the new google maps without a google account! It helped me well.

thorough and easy Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Seems to do everything I could want with cookies, and makes it easy. Works fine with FF 39.0 (latest as of this date); no CPU problems as others reported. Suggestions: 1) instructions mention the app icon, which I don't see under Vista -- mention hitting Alt; 2) allow ctrl-C to copy, though that's such a minor thing that I'm really reaching; 3) can the picture. ;-)
