Works Great, Takes some getting used to Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Best way I find is to right click on mouse when the screen is filled with info you want to Capture. On the info window click on Capture and Print. When the whole Mozilla window turns yellow< use your mouse< with left button on< to capture area you want to print> at this point your preview screen shows the captured area< you can change the size and format you want it printed and to which printer you would like to use> when it looks the way you want in the preview< click print and it goes to your printer> Finally< an app that works great!

Confused! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I absolutely love this add-on. It has worked flawlessly. Now it has disappeared and I cannot get it to install and show up in Firefox 36.0.
Update: Firefox version 36.0.1 solves the problem.

Confusing Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Screen turns yellow and no instructions on what to do next. Yes, you can choose to copy part of the page, but doesn't tell you how to do the whole page.

Deleted it, don't need stuff that doesn't work on my computer.

Why is this add on considered so great? Rated 1 out of 5 stars

When I highlight multiple pages which I want to print, it compresses them vertically and horizontally to a narrow column at the left margin of ONE PAGE. The image is unreadable. What is so wonderful about that? Great for one page only, not multiple pages.

Dear user... please take a moment to read the add-on description, this should answer your concerns i think. In a nutshell, this add-on was made to capture webpage areas mainly, being all it does forwarding that captured area to the Firefox's build-in print feature. So:

1) It's up to Firefox (and how you've configured it) how this area/snippet is prepared to get printed, not this add-on.

2) If you have to print multiple pages, why don't you use the normal print approach? (Ie, ctrl+p)

Best regards...

Saves file as PNG Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Rated 3 stars because this add-on doesn't really "print" the webpage. Rather, it saves captured area as a PNG image. That was not clear from the description.

The page I tried this add-on had content that wouldn't print to PDF or XPS using my regular methods. I wanted to capture the information for documentation purposes, so it was important to have all of the information available.

I tried it on a site that is more than one screen-length. It resized the PNG file to 54% which didn't even reach across half the page, making the text illegible. There was no obvious control to allow me to scale up the file size and distribute it over several pages as a normal printer would do.

Also, my mouse isn't set up to middle click (MMB) so I could not explore that functionality. The instructions are fairly simple other than that.

RMB (capture visible area to clipboard) works well and can be pasted into a blank word document. However, if there are any borders, they will be in the image, making the central content portion look smaller.

Doesn't work with Flash content Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Tried to use this to capture a window containing the electronic version of the daily Metro newspaper, which is displayed using Adobe Flash and PageSuite. Didn't want to play!

Needed to export a full, scrolling page, unbroken, into an image. This add-on did it with one click. Very nice!

2nd screen capture, shutting down Firefox Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Really nice add-on, very easy to use. However, on the 2nd screen capture, the add-on appears to be causing a fault, shutting down Firefox. I can reopen Firefox, take a screen snippet .... but on the 2nd screen capture it shuts down Firefox again. *** Update ***: Diego, thanks for checking. After your confirmation, I disabled all my Firefox extensions, and added them back 1-by-1. The conflicting extension was [Advanced SystemCare Surfing Protection 1.0 By IObit]. I remove it, and it working great. I have increased my rating to 5 stars. Thanks for a great extension, and will be happy to make a contribution. Thanks, for your quick response and a great extension!

Here works fine, so any info you can give on your system details and such could be of help...

Prints upside down Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I find this add-on quick, flexible, and easy to use. My only complaint is that the printout emerges from the printer upside-down compared to printouts of emails, Word pages, and everything else.

Hmm, are you certain that's something caused by the add-on? You should note C&P just eases sending the captured area to the Firefox's Print Preview page.

Overall, a very useful add-on that's much easier to use than anything else out there. The only problem I've had with it (which explains the 4-star rating) is that when I start/restart Firefox, the icon sometimes disappears from the toolbar. To get it to reappear, I have to disable the add-on then re-enable it. Not a major issue, but it is a nuisance.

maybe problems with Os X 10.9 ? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

For some weeks, the program does not work properly. Neither can I print nor the selected areas are fully selected. Parts of texts or images are cut off. It was such a useful and helpful program. Please correct this error, if it is possible. FF 25.0.1 / OS X 10.9

Hi thb, i don't see such problems here, i.e. it works like the first day. So, could you please try to disable other add-ons and keep C&P alone to test if the problem persist? it'll tell us if it's a conflicting add-on what is causing it.

Btw, please note the print process isn't handled by the add-on, therefore as you said you can't print the problem on that aspect must be somewhere else.
