Autofill Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I have tried several auto fills and none of them worked.I tried this one and am very, very happy I did. It works great and I love it. If anyone is looking for an auto fill extension get this one. It is easy to use and does not take a degree in computer science to learn how it works.

wirklich schlecht, unvollständig, bedieungsunfreundlich Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Great Extension just a quick question Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Still Using this Extension, Still Loving it, but I just have a quick question, is there a way to update all the field rules and site rules at once? I have a few profiles and it is very time consuming to go one by one, not that I mind, this extension saves me enough time already, but I was wondering if that was available just in case the sites I use changes the fields rules again, Thank You and Have a Great Day-Sincerely Daily User

Good review by bege1 Rated 4 out of 5 stars

The review by bege1 in "Still maintained or not?" regarding html5 form elements was quite helpful - the extension will indeed recognize the email form element after adding the element to the config string. But there are other code parts to adapt, too - it will not completely automate the formfill. It is still necessary to manually select the profile and the field to fill in.
But it certainly helps.

ABOUT ME & SOCIAL URL Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Hi will you added About me and Social Url..??

not quite ready for prime time Rated 2 out of 5 stars

On the plus side, the hotkeys work. Roboform's stopped working after the update. However, I'm constantly presented with a popup about selecting an alternative language. I do and it re-appears. There's also no default password field.

Still maintained or not? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I thought this add-on was not maintained any more. Now I read with surprise and joy an answer from Albine. Did you decide to keep on maintaining this add-on?If so, great, because it generally still works with FF 24, except:
- As mentioned in another post the layout of the settings windows is not OK any more and therefore very inconvenient but still usable.
- Additionally AutoFillForms doesn't recognize HTML5 email form fields. As the developer wrote to me this can be easily fixed by adding it to the preferences in about:config
The contents of
extensions.autofillForms@blueimp.net.regExpFormFieldTypes
must be enhanced to
^(?:(?:text(?:area)?)|(?:select-(?:(?:one)|(?:multiple)))|(?:checkbox)|(?:radio)|(?:password)|(?:file)|(?:email))$

Hi!

Yes, we're updating it. Stay tuned for Mozilla to post the newest version of PrivacySuite here, and I'll pass on your more technical comments to the engineering team.

Thanks!

Excellent, this helped me in filling online railway reservation forms quickly on Railwiki IRCTC by just one click. Auto filling online forms really helps in saving lot of time.

Excellent except for some bugs Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It would be excellent if the author could fix the following two critical issues.
1. Preventing the prompt pop-up asking which value to choose if the candidate values are identical.
2. Fixing filling problem on some certain sites like dropbox.com on which the add-on is unable to recognize some fields such as username and email.
3. The add-on seems unable to auto-fill if the the birth date comes as a form of dropdown menus. for instance, it doesn't work on registering a yahoo account.
I really hope these problems could be resolved as soon as possible. Anyway, thanks to authors of this add-on for providing such an convenient and small but useful add-on to everyone.

Thanks for the feedback

This is really helpful. We'll look into implementing some of these changes.

Horrible program. Don't use it if you want something to actually do it AUTOMATICALLY. If that's what you're looking for, this isn't it. It gives a pop-up every time to ask you what you want it to put into a field because the add-on is too stupid to know how to read the fields properly. Epic failure.

Wanted to love it...but... Rated 2 out of 5 stars

This add-on needs work. It has all the capabilities and suggestive ideas that it describes except that it doesn't always work on all forms. For someone like me who uses this regularly on many different websites I can tell you that it gets name confused with address and vice versa...it also sometimes fills your name in all of the fields instead of just leaving them blank as it should. In turn, I end up losing time than saving it more often. I'll be downloading something new.

I love this add-on, but I ran into a problem with it when I updated Firefox to version 21. (Version 22 turned out to be incompatible with one of my add-ons so I went down to 21. I don't know if this problem would occur with 22 or not.)

The dialogue window is too tall. This happens on my desktop (large screen) and my laptop. The solution is to autohide the taskbar while I am working with the settings. So the add-on is still usable, just a bit less convenient.

Utter Waste

It is so HARD to use. I spent 30 min on it and yell "where is the manual?" Interestingly, this add-on is not mentioned at all in the developer web site, not to mention any guideline or support.

Sorry, no. Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Sorry but this addon does not work. I have to right-click every single field and the I have to choose between a lot of suggestions. The time this addon needs to act is much to much, I need less time to fill all the form-fields by hand. This is not what I am looking for, so sorry.

Not easy to use Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I only tried it for 5 or 10 minutes so take this with a pinch of salt, but it did not seem easy or convenient to use, did not save the form values I entered, and when I asked it to complete a form it selected a checkbox that I did not select when I last submitted the form. Another add-on called Form History Control seems to do much more want I was after.
