Makes Google Maps easier Rated 4 out of 5 stars
So much more, but...
A better option to the mapping add-ons available as of 4/2007. Be sure to check out the MISC tab to use the Variable Substitution placeholder. This allows you to place default text into the URL after the inserted highlighted text. Add a comma and a zip code, now you just need a street address to find the closest match to your zip. I have one entry that adds my zip, one that doesn't. Great help looking up local addresses!!
Needs default zip or city/state Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Like the separate "Map This" and "Map To This" context menu choices. As of 4/2007 I like this add-on the best of the mapping ones.
Would like to be able to add a default city/state or zip. Separate from highlighted address with a comma. Many times the city information is not next to street info, or not included at all on local sites.
Needs default zip or city/state Rated 2 out of 5 stars
If a city/state or zip is not provided, there should be an option to add one automatically. Google will find the closest, so even if it isn't exact it'll come up right. Add a comma followed by the zip to the search string. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6).
Needs city, state default Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Needs a default zip or city/state. Many times these are not listed or concurrent to the street address. Found adding just a comma and a close zip in the search bar brought up the correct map.
Also, the pop-up window appears partly off the top of the display when used on a scrolled down web page.
