works in v 115.7/win
but gets disabled in in config editor by
mail.quoteasblock -> false
unfrotunately i need to set this to disable Quote Colors & Collapse add-on.
would be grat if your add-on would set this parameter only temporarely "true".

Only 1 level of quoting is being removed, the deeper quotes will remain in place in the mailbody. try fix this yourself at: https://liveweave.com/OerYQu and make a pull request on github if successful.
The ReFormatter ThuBi-extension works for usenet news as well as regular e-mail, but it only cleanses the mailbody not the header. 4 stars only since the real problem is not being addressed, which is not the mailbody but those darn "Re: " prefixes in the subject lines, i.e. the mailheader.
4 stars only also because it should be made quick and easy to understand what this thing is good for without spending 4 hours on it. Just use plain concise English to perform this trick, which only 0.1% of all programmers can perform. Well, maybe some just don't care at all for some reason.

I was very happy with this add-on. It made e-mails with long history much easier to read.
I miss it with TB 68.
Thanks to the software ingeneer to have had it a couple of years.

After last update of Thunderbird to v 60.3.0 this extension turns the text in the reply message upside-down. Paragraphs a, b, c become c, b, a. This is very unhandy.

Still works great. However, after the latest update today, whenever i try to do a reply, I cannot highlight and edit the contents of the quoted email reply. Works okay with forwarding.

and reinstall the add-on from this .xpi file manually.

The problem BTJustice described on February 3, 2010 persist in the Ver. 0.3.1. If the option "Remove the '|' prefix from quote in html mail." is checked you will not be able to reply a message containg an inline picture.

In fact, it is the option "Remove the '|' prefix from quote in html mail." that caue this issue. Unchecking the option corrects the issue with inline images not being displayed correctly when replying.

This is an interesting extension, but it break replies to messages with inline image attachments.

I was looking for such an add-on. I always hate the ">" in front of a reply. Would it be possible to remove all the ">" and not only the first one? Or do I miss something?
