Tamper Data

Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

Please update for FF3.6! Seems to work ok too. Feature request: Add a toolbar icon which can not only open the extension but show itself in different colors depending on whether there is an active request currently going on (using a different color for different requests)... Thanks!

FireFTP

Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

A thoroughly wonderful extension. Inconceivable to me how anyone would complain about it.

Context Style Switcher

Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

This is great--No need to drag the mouse everywhere just to switch styles.

Not sure if another extensions already does this, but a pull-down menu in the toolbar would be a nice alternative, as it could alert you to the presence of alternate styles without having to click anything. Btw, you can appeal poor ratings if they are not relevant, etc.

HeadingsMap

Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

This is a very useful tool--my only suggestions are 1) Give an option not to show the numbers--while useful for debugging a site, they are a bit distracting for just looking around a site; 2) Turn off showing errors by default (or allow customization of the color)--for a regular user browsing a page, when I didn't see any way to change that color, it made me initially think that that was the regular color. Anyhow, a critical extension to have, especially when using the icon in the toolbar

Replacement Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

HeadingsMap works as an updated substitute: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/7203

URN Support

Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas

This is a great idea and should be, imo, part of Firefox built-in.

Since this effectively takes over URN handling (and other extensions could not really compete with it), I request having a customizable and expandable chart list of urns and redirects (and always make the same "%urn%", etc. wildcards available to each of these).

For example, if one wanted to add urn:foo and redirect it to example.com/%urn%, while adding urn:bar and redirecting to example2.com/%urn%, one could do it.

FiltaQuilla

Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

Woohoo! I can hold my head higher now as a Thunderbird user now that FiltaQuilla has added the highly flexibile customizability Mozilla is known for to Thunderbird to be able to launch any file (and more) upon a new message as some other other mail clients were already able to do. Now I can record and have automatically play a specific message indicating important callers by name. Might even be used with home automation! The extension did the job as advertised.

Inline Code Finder

Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

Great idea and a practical and attractive implementation. A few somewhat related ideas: Optionally indicating deprecated tags and putting the data also in source view.

Bahai Calendar

Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

Works well. Like another user recommended, it'd be nice to have one of the date formats just be kept in the status bar as text.

ThreadVis

Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

Where were you all this time?? :) Sure wish I had known about this extension earlier--I can finally bury my regrets from moving away from Entourage 2004! (Request: It'd be nice to be able to see forwarded email "threads" in addition to replies (and in a different manner))

QuickRestart

Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

This should be a standard part of Firefox, or at least turn-onable via preferences...

Showcase

Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

Wow is this something else... I love the sidebar. PLEASE make the option (or default) to put the cursor in the find area of the sidebar so that one can quickly use the key commands to search through one's tabs. You might also consider taking some ideas from Tree Style tab extension to be able to make collapsible trees out of the views or collapsing them into just tabs (so that one can take advantage of filtering tabs without having one's view blocked with screenshots if there are a lot of tabs). Really nice work!!!

/Find Bar/

Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

Though the extension has problems with not grabbing textarea data, FAYT does not offer regular expressions. Despite this problem (and despite my earlier having given a rating), I am hoping to counter-balance the irrational 1-start rating the commenter before me added. (I hope moderators might cancel out such ratings in the future)

CyberSearch

Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

This extension should be called The Really Awesome Bar. Not often an extension can dramatically increase productivity for just about anyone. Wonder if it will cause Google to reconsider its funding agreements with Mozilla if you remove the ads from the equation (in the process of removing the need to visit the site) though!

Tree Style Tab (Pestañas estilo árbol)

Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

This is a must-have for power users. Would love to have a way to save a tree or even have different virtual tab-bars to switch between...Anyhow, great, great work!

Sneak Peek

Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas

Tested on WinXP, FF3.

I guess this should be under a category of "Feeds, News, Blogging" as well as "Other" (It only looks like its under "Other").

This extension provides nice customized control in specifying the conditions under which links appear and how they are displayed in previewing another site before viewing it. Very useful potentially for news, forums or other wiki pages (or even this addons site!). Nice power control via regexp.

A few suggestions (though I'm not attached to any except the first):
1) Put the close button on the far right with maybe a splitter apart from the others so it is clear and quick to get out of the window.
2) Maybe allow some kind of importing or page-at-a-time means of pasting in a script. Having to tab through each field to enter text could be troublesome if you are pasting the data from somewhere.
3) Maybe some means of specifying the style of the link display (since you've already given a lot of control)
4) Possibly allowing XPath for the peek pattern
5) Make it more accessible to the average user by allowing a simple "*" wildcard in addition to the existing regular expressions option.
6) Allow searching and importing of user patterns directly through the interface--if there's a disconnect in needing to go to the site, I might be less likely to take advantage of it.

Overall a potentially useful tool.

MultiSearch

Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

Tested with Win. XP, FF3.0.

I wasn't clear from the description on whether there was another delimiter possible besides a comma, and if so, how it could be changed.

Works well as advertised. A nice power trip seeing all of the tabs opening at one's whim. :)

I'll have to see how often the urge to do this comes up for me, but this extension does make it possible.

DOM Inspector

Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

You can get the one for Firefox at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6622

(Giving a rating of 5 to balance out the comments about it not working in FF since it is for Thunderbird, but it is confusing)

FF 3? Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

Hi, This is a great extension, and it even works when I update install.rdf (though with some error messages in Console). This is such a basic navigation tool, it's hard to do without it! :)

Developer Assistant

Hooray! Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

Yay! Extended for FF3!

This should be included in a build for developers. This is such a vital tool for making Firefox extensions and even handy for other web developers (live HTML preview, JavaScript environment, and regular expressions--the immediate feedback without needing to open a new window, save a test file to a folder, etc., is invaluable in speeding development). The extension builder got me into building extensions in the first place.

Be aware of the toolbar icons (View->Toolbars->Customize) as they are a must.

Small note: with the XUL editor, if you open it in a new window, it seems to have fewer privs (had problems testing a controller).

One request: please allow customization of default text in windows, at least the HTML editor. If not, please at least make the default HTML text include a fully well-formed document and an empty script tag to try out JavaScript so we can play with JavaScript/HTML/CSS interaction without needing to type the script tags in each time...

An XHTML 1.1 editor might be nice too to get immediate well-formedness errors, though one can kind of use the XUL editor for that (though not with real HTML styling).

Small bug (with FF3?): Might not be ext's fault, but reloading chrome (with a lot of windows open at least) caused FF to crash, and I had problems in FF2 with reload chrome causing multiple windows to be opened when reopening Firefox later.

Again, awesome work, thank you!
