This is for regular Wikipedia users who want to supplement their reading with opinions from other websites. While you browse Wikipedia as normal, the software silently checks for pages of interest that match the one you are currently reading. If it detects any, a notification pops up to invite you to check them out.
Whenever you enter a new URL, the software makes a corresponding HEAD request to check for matching pages on other sites of interest. Whenever matching pages are found, a notification bar pops up with a link to them.
The software's appearance and behavior is pretty customizable, and which sites the software checks for pages is completely up to you. It comes preloaded with a dozen large websites which you may wish to cross reference, but these are easily edited to suit your preferences.
