Must-have Add-On, waiting for updated v for HTML5 Puntuado con 3 de 5 estrellas

I thought the App became obsolete, but it didn't now that YouTube wouldn't resume without cookies.

I will return to the good rating soon as the new HTML5 version is released.

kindest regards

Thank you

You're very kind. Please give v1.1.4 a try(once it's reviewed by Mozilla) and let me know if continue having issues--I'll do my best to address them.

Works perfectly with Flash, broken with HTML5 Puntuado con 2 de 5 estrellas

Unfortunately it doesn't work with HTML5. You can force FF to use Flash again by setting media.fragmented-mp4.enabled and media.webm.enabled to "false" in about:config. Video Resumer will work then again.

Doesn't work after shutdown Puntuado con 1 de 5 estrellas

It doesn't resume playback when you shutdown firefox it doesn't start where it left.
Chrome does this by default..anf FF can't even do it with an addon. Oh dear.

Last position is saved on each video advance, which is every second

However, I assume this is kept in memory, therefore, if Firefox process is terminated(killed) it might not have a chance to store all that on to disk - hence unable to resume that video after restart.

Finally working again for me with FF 38. Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas

Have missed this addon! For whatever reason (?) it started working again for me with Firefox 38 update. I had to see it working a few times to prove to myself it wasn't a fluke.

Same problem again: no support for HTML5 Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

I've been fostering hopes for HTML5 support for the very very long time, but the same problem again: NO support. Overall, the great extension for Flash.

Removes *YouTube URL**?t=*time* functionality Puntuado con 2 de 5 estrellas

Will always jump to 0 on new videos, even if the time has been set in the the URL, breaks embedded videos with the time set too.

There is no option for ignoring or forcing the set time to be obeyed.

Works well outside of that though, just a shame it breaks standard youtube functionality.

Hey, just checked - should work

For example:

Doesn't work HTML 5 Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

Doesn't work with HTML 5 :((((((((((((((((((

doesn't work with html5 Puntuado con 1 de 5 estrellas

this is just for flash...

Videos that haven't been watched with Video Resumer before start infinitelybuffering at exactly 0:14 Puntuado con 3 de 5 estrellas

I get this odd problem where videos with no timestamp saved by Video Resumer start infinitely buffering at exactly 0:14, completely reproducible with any video without a saved timestamp. It disappeared when I disabled the plugin, and reappeared when I re-enabled it. I can only get around this by skipping ahead to 0:15 or anything after that and refreshing the page.
(sorry if this isn't supposed to be a review, but the support section redirection link in the "keep these tips in mind" just went to the main addon page)

This add-on works great! I ran into a issue with it that has been going on for a few days now, though. Youtube is having trouble buffering videos now. I get about 10~15 seconds into the video before it stops, and the only way I've gotten it to work is to refresh the page until it buffers. I've disabled the add-on for now and buffering is fine.

Very good addon works with flash like a charm, BUT I can't make it work with HTML5. If I change yt to use html5 by default or I use another addon for that, Video Resumer just won't work anymore.
Except that I recommend it.

Causing unresponsive script errors on YT user channels Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas

I really love this addon, but lately it's been causing unresponsive script errors ending in the total crashing of FF every time I am on a YT userchannel, if that main channel has an embedded video playing on it. I have taken a copy of the browser console, (I hope that's the same thing as the error console, because that's all I can find) but I am not a member of facebook and don't want to be, so is there any other way I can send the error log to you? Please help. :(

Thank you

Does its job; however, at least on Firefox 29, uses massive amounts of RAM to do it; often passing the half-gigabyte mark.

Thanks! However, since at the time Firefox 29 was still in "alpha" it could have been attributed to the Firefox itself. I have seen it using GiGs of RAM myself with a few tabs open some of which playing flash WITHOUT our plugin installed.
