Useful but... Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas
Basically this add-on does what it is supposed to do (at least AFAIK). However, there are some issues I couldn't get around.
For example, Gmail won't let me type any texts with RAS enabled. Right-click paste works, as well as typing on any other pages. I don't want to whitelist Gmail/Google.
And would it be possible to get rid of that "Browser Profile Changed" balloon, popping up every now and then? It's very annoying, especially when Firefox is minimised, e.g., there's another application is running on the screen.
Edit #2: And oh, whenever I'm forced to disable RAS in order to get a site working (whitelisting does not always work), please, keep the settings. Now they are reset.
Switch user agent on New tab Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas
Please, make option to switch user agent when new tab open
Good enough Puntuado con 3 de 5 estrellas
This (along with Ghostery, Self Destucting Cookes and something I wrote for myself) homogenizes my presence on the web. Some sites that used to detect my repeated use, defying cookie removal and cache clearing, no longer can.
The so-called White listing makes no sense. White listing should simply send my true user agent info, not another fake one.
Whitellisting should allow me to edit a list of white listed sites.
Whitelistiing is not available when I open a site and right click the tab.
Whitelisting is not available when I right click a bookmark.
The list of user agent strings is claimed to be from real ones found on the web, This is false because it was sending user agent strings for Firefox 51 when the highest version was 49. One site challenged me that I seemed to be some sort of attacking bot and asked me to go thry a Captcha log on.
Random strings are not apportioned by their reasonable frequency that they appear on the web.
e10s Puntuado con 3 de 5 estrellas
Is not compatible with e10s (multiprocess) - causing a lot of problems with e10s enabled. Other than that, my experience with it has been good.
I'm disappointed I won't be able to use this addon until it is updated.
Не работает Time zone spoofing (UTC) Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

Timezone spoofing was temporarily removed as it was broken with the release of firefox 45. Once a new working version has been implemented it will be added in again

Excellent Addon Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas
I initially expected just user agent spoofing, but this addon comes with a large number of privacy-centric options that are extremely helpful.Esta valoración es de una versión anterior del complemento (0.9.5.5).
Toggling on & off is clumsy Puntuado con 3 de 5 estrellas
Would love to have the RAS icon to also have a toggle on/off tickbox with the menu. It us cumbersome to have to go into about:addons in order to turn it off or turn it on all the time.
I think it's a bad design by omitting that.
Also update your browser list. Old browsers going back two or three years should not have options to use in there. In fact, you have TOO MANY (old) selections.
Doesn't play nice with Lastpass autofill Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas
Sadly, I always have to turn of the extension when using auto login with Lastpass autofill. IT sometimes works when using a random desktop browser, set to change once per few minutes, but rarely. I've tried fixing the problem temporarily through a white list, but it isn't very polished either.Esta valoración es de una versión anterior del complemento (0.9.5.5).
Many good features, some of them seem broken Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas
I was testing RAS an came across some features which doesn't seem to work (tested with according test websites promoted in the Wiki):
- Time zone spoofing
- Screen Size spoofing
- Disable canvas support
- Disable webGL
- The temporary mail provider mailinator is no more supported (https://www.mailinator.com/deadpage.jsp) .
- koszmail seems down.
I would love to have test utilities for every aspect of the extension so users can be sure it is working like intended. Also users need to tweak a lot of settings for optimal results. Maybe implement some buttons (easy, medium, paranoid) which trigger according settings.
All in all a great extension which i love to use, even more when certain bugs are resolved.
Keep up the good work!
A fun idea, but flawed by design Puntuado con 1 de 5 estrellas
The upshot is that this add-on does cloak your actual browser fingerprint. However, the randomizer wants to select obscure operating system/browser combinations that make your browser fingerprint SUPER unique, and that actually makes your activities easier to track.
Even in manual mode, the browser/OS options are dated by several versions. In a world where software mostly updates itself without user intervention, fingerprints with dated version numbers tend to stand out (the best combination I can find in the list provided only makes my print unique to 0.08% according to amiunique org). The dated fingerprint profiles could also be the reason for many of the compatibility complaints in the comments below.
Idea: in addition to a random agent spoofer, how about a "common agent spoofer" that sets your fingerprint to the most current and most common OS/browser combination, thereby making fingerprints more anonymous? Please consider.
Defeats itself Puntuado con 1 de 5 estrellas
This addon seems great, but it defeats it's own purpose because it is always outdated. The browser versions in this add-on are around 5-10 versions (at least half a year) behind the current version of the browser they are supposed to pose as. That means instead of hiding the user in a pool of hundreds of millions of people, they are hiding him in the 0.000001% of people whose browser still hasn't been updated after 6 months, even though it has an autoupdate feature. So it doesn't hide you, it actually makes you stand out. For this to work, it needs to be updated every time a new browser version comes out, so it doesn't get stuck on Chrome 43 or Firefox 40 when the whole world is already at version 53 and 47.Esta valoración es de una versión anterior del complemento (0.9.5.5).

Delivers almost awesomely Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas
The whitelist doesn't seem to work properly though. While I'm at it I could request an white list for other extensions too (ie, let the extension communicate without going through the spoofer). Reason found below.
One thing that might help some users: disable the option "Use click to play for plugins" if you use password managers, it breaks the auto fill feature. It seems some extensions don't like some options available.
A small edition: would a feature to randomize keyboard strokes timing be feasible? Seems you can be profiled by the interval you take from one key to the other. Scary.

Good for Developers and FF Dev. Edition Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas
Besides the randomness mode, this add-on allows you to choose from many other User-Agent profiles.
My only complaint is the WhiteList tab is text based. I would expect an easy button to add whitelisted websites. I'm not certain if its working entirely either, since I whitelisted "google.com" but maybe that could be due to a browser restart.
Briillant Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas
I love this addon! It allows me to uninstall a lot of other things. I especially love the option to block headers along with the useragent. And I love the little extra temporary email creator.
One problem I haven't been able to solve: I can't get the Whitelist to work with this site (mozilla addaons.) No matter what options I add, or how I format the url, this site never detects the Firefox useragent I specify (unless I disable RAS.) The whitelist works great with other websites though. (What I ended up doing what excluding all desktop browser useragents except for Firefox and Palemoon. The version is incorrect but at least I can force addon installs.)
