Flash Control still not OK with Cyberfox Puntuado con 1 de 5 estrellas
2.0.7 and 2.1.0 (the latter having disappeared from the history list) displays orange V shield, 2.1.3 does not.
I don't have Flash installed, so I cannot comment on the F shield.
I have to load the 2.1.0 xpi from the features folder to avoid with certainty any Add-ons Manager snafus.
The shield is still absent in 2.1.4.
Works well on average Puntuado con 3 de 5 estrellas
On global destinations (Facebook, youtube) works like charm. However, it fails on local sites. It is not able to cover all the code cases there are in the world. And i am in the wrong part of it.
It stops auto play but doesn't stop video buffering Puntuado con 3 de 5 estrellas
It stops autoplay on youtube but the video still buffer in the background... imagin openin 20+ youtube links with all buffering in the background at the same time. 3/5 Can't give more because of the buffering.
does not honor the whitelist Puntuado con 3 de 5 estrellas
Although Flash Control does seem to block flash it does not honor the whitelist so I always have to click 2 icons (a V and an F) to get the site to work. Not sure why 2 icons. I am currently using v2.1.4. It used to work well. Hope they fix it soon.
Update Problems Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas
After the February 14th Update flash blocker stopped working. I'm sure this is a temporary issue. An excellent tool to have otherwise.
Downgrading to 2.0.7 Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas
After installing 2.1.3 Flash Control didn't block videos any more.
I found the older version. I downgraded to 2.0.7, this solved my problem. Now it works again in my FF 43!

really really really annoying!
how do i fix it?
This does not seem to behave with AdGuard Puntuado con 1 de 5 estrellas
AdGuard is AWESOME for blocking ads, but for some reason when I install this all of a sudden a bunch of HUGE Vs and HUGE As appear on every page. I suspect this add-on is seeing whatever AdGuard is "injecting" to block Ads as something to block. This then puts some sort of "placeholder" which is UGLY. AdGuard cannot go, so this must go but please look into this and fix it along with other problems people report. :PEsta valoración es de una versión anterior del complemento (2.0.6).
Doesn't work with my profile Puntuado con 2 de 5 estrellas
Flash Control works if I install it on a brand new profile, but it doesn't work with my current profile, and I don't understand why. I tried installing it in safe mode (all other add-ons disabled), but its icon stays greyed out even when I click to enable it.
The other add-ons I have are uBlock Origin, Greasemonkey, DownThemAll, rikaichan and some of its dictionary files, and 'Hide Fulscreen Alert' to hide Youtube fullscreen messages.
I'm using Firefox 42, 64-bit. I initially thought it was incompatible with 64-bit Firefox, but that's not true. Again, not sure why Flash Control isn't working with my profile.
New version stopped block flash players. Puntuado con 3 de 5 estrellas
Just after Fireforx started flash players are not blocked. I have turned off "Session Manager". I suppose that new version stopped block flash players. I'm using Firefox 42 (Linux 32bit). Tested on:
incompatiblities! Please Mr.Developer check that! Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas
I saw that other addons do not work properly if flash control that I liked to use very much, was enabled!
I might make a mistake and so I urge somebody to recheck this:
1. tab group helper seach feature did not work properly but after isabling flashcontrol it worked!
Thank you very much for improving and eliminating this issue!
Very good... actually Puntuado con 3 de 5 estrellas
This addon is what I was looking for such a long time. Finally there is no more autoplay terror on any website. But one thing is so annoying that I only can rate with three stars. This pesky A sign that stands for HTML5 audio embeddings cannot be deactivated. I understood the function of this and it is great that the addon is supporting this. But why is there no possibility to disable it similar to the Adobe Flash and HTML5 Video block option? And/or why is this A sign isn't placed to a constant position where it isn't in the way like now? Please add/realize this and you'll get five stars. ;-)
I haven't tested it until right now: Does your plugin syncs the whitelist settings via Firefox Sync with other computers? That would be smashing! :-)

Doesnt work Puntuado con 1 de 5 estrellas
Only disable autoplay on youtube and the video/s continue to load in background consuming bandwidth. Also it causes many crashes in one day with silverlight on netflix. Only disabling it fixes the problem. Utterly useless currently.Esta valoración es de una versión anterior del complemento (2.0.4).
Only stopping Autoplay on html5 Youtube, but that still starts using bandwidth. Puntuado con 2 de 5 estrellas
Doesnt actually BLOCK Html5 videos on youtube, only disables AUTOPLAY, the videos still continue to load and use up bandwidth in the background. But flash videos are blocked completely and only start loading when Flash Control icon is clicked. Please make Html5 videos also only start loading when the Flash Control icon is clicked. Till then this isnt really a video-blocker, just a video-pauser.Esta valoración es de una versión anterior del complemento (2.0.4).
2.0.4 - bug - Red Shield with A (audio) in Gmail now. Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas
The support page is unusable so I have to post here.
With 2.0.4 I now have an annoying Red Shield with A (audio) in Gmail.
There is no flash, audio or html5 present.
