Scrollkey

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The scroll with page up and down is not working on firefox dev 42 J and K works well. I don't know if it has to do with e10s.

Auto Unload Tab

Background tab issue Rated 4 out of 5 stars

The background tab issue I mentioned before is still present

(if you have the dim unloaded tabs option off and the restore tabs on demand option on, when you restore a session that has more than 1 window on one of the windows if you open links from the only tab that is loaded those links in the background will always load. This gets solved if you unload the problematic tab manually.)

Also I dont know if this is intentional but now you cannot manually unload a tab that's on the whitelist using the context menu (that was possible before and it's still possible while selecting more than 1 tab)

Zoom Page

Add-on problem or Firefox issue? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

EDIT: I see thanks
Do you know if firefox devs already know this?

Anyhow I created a bug on bugzilla for it /show_bug. cgi?id=1178138 So if it's no t a known issue please drop by to get it more publicity.

I manually defined zoom intervals of 1% from 100 to over 400 but when i tested it the page size doesnt change on every tick of the zoom increase for example I increase it to 101 and it changes I increse it now to 102 but nothing happens I increase to 103 and it shows then later it skips higher % like 5 or 6% increases to notice a change. I tried with no squint and it has the same issue at the exact same zoom levels so I was wondering if this could be a firefox problem and if something could be done to catch their attention to fix it or if it's something intentional.

Thanks a lot again for fixing most the previous issues and having the requests in mind I really appreciate it.

Auto Unload Tab

Max Loaded tabs issue + No menu with MTH + Background tabs + WHITELIST Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Thanks a lot for fixing the previous issues and having the requests in mind I really appreciate it.

Testing the 0.8.3 version I noticed that the previous compatibility feature you did with multiple tab handler that you incorporated to unload tabs now does not appear. The cascaded menu only appears with one tab.

Also I noticed that the max loaded tabs is now set by default to 1 and cannot be changed to 0 not even by going to about config (well technically you can there but it wont have any effect). Is this on purpose? Is not a big deal but it's kinda confusing at first when you see all the tabs getting unloaded.

EDIT: The tab history issue was a thing of the Session Restorer add-on so there is no problem with that.

UPDATE: Also if you have the dim unloaded tabs option off and the restore tabs on demand option on, when you restore a session that has more than 1 window on one of the windows if you open links from the only tab that is loaded those links in the background will always load. This gets solved if you unload or reopen or reload the problematic tab.

RESPONSE: Sure but it has nothing to do with your add-on the "issue" is that the session has a delay saving but the history does not so if on a existing tab you load a page and then before the session is automatically saved you close the browser the tab will retain it's history but the session will point to the first entry.

addons mozilla org /en-US /firefox /addon /session-manager

UPDATE 2: I noticed an other thing. The whitelist feature you added before with the wildcards seems to be missing cause I noticed that for example having vodloker com and mightyupload com whitelisted works for the site and it's subdomains but if you have vodloker com /* and mightyupload com /* in the whitelist it does not work at all.

Auto Unload Tab

Whitelist + Tab history + Background tab Issues (NOT FIXED ON 0.8.2) Rated 3 out of 5 stars

When upgrading from one version to an other, when updating firefox, or when you disable and enable the option "Show add exclusion list on page context menu" the white list gets corrupted the first 12 items or so stay as they should the rest appears as "undefined". This also affect other preferences such as the load background tabs and then even if you turn it off the tabs still load.

There also an issue with the tab if it has history when it gets unloaded it will be back to the first history entry instead of the last one it was on. On top of that even if the tab has no history when you load it will load an old version of the page so you have to reload the tab to see if there were any changes like new posts or comments etc.

If you don't mind I would like to make a request as well: Could you add the option of showing the exclusion site option in the tab menu? (I don't mean replacing how it works now but like having a drop down menu on the add-on config page saying show on tab menu, show on page context menu, do not show).

Request Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Could it be possible to expand this add-on to make it work with horizontal scroll as well?

Thanks again for your time.

Free Memory

Awesome add-on. (Question + Request) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Does this also make cycle and garbage collection automatically or just "reduce memory"? If it only does reduce memory can there be an option to make the other things as well automatically?

Awesome add-on. Thanks for taking your time to do it.

Minimalist UI

Cool add-on but it has many issues Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Tested on firefox dev version 40. It leaves a lot of space to the left of the tabs that doesn't correct itself not even when you move the bookmark bar to the other side. When you do move the bookmark to the other side mouseover recognition is pretty buggy. On the left side the mouseover works good but the black is still there and the space only reduces when you have your mouse over it if you have only a few bookmarks. On the version of firefox i mentioned there is no way to make the urlbar appear also the add-on has 0 visible configuration there should be some options to make a better experience for the user. Also the tab list button hides itself kinda randomly idk why.

Zoom Page

Response Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I was asking for a way that instead of having listed the zooms like 100 110 120 etc that you can put i want the zoom to be in increments of 1% or 5% or whatever you want and then define the max and min values instead of having to write down all the numbers in between. In my particular case I would use increments of 1% that's why it would be kinda ridiculous to actually write down each number from 30 to 300.

Regarding the editable toolbar button percentage display you could put like 2 modes like the classic one you have now or the alternative display so each user can decide else you can have the option to have them show both at the same time as separate items or hide one or the other. I think that would be a Solomonic decision per se. Regarding your question of it being used very often I can only speak for me. Either way I think at least the option to show the actual zoom on the page would be nice and useful in general terms.

What I don't understand is the zoom modes like what does it mean by default site specific and fit to width? Is the default not to remember the zoom per site? I don't understand the display indicators section either there is a lot of things to check and I don't know what kind of display they alter I always see the 100% the same unless I right click it. Also what's explicit?. Is the fit to width applied to what? On image position what does origin and margin mean?

Thanks for your time and sorry for the huge list of questions.

Bookmarks UI

Nice add-on (RESPONSE BELOW) Rated 3 out of 5 stars

If you dont mind i would like to request some things. Could you make this UI available for any category of bookmarks instead of just the toolbar? Also I noticed that clicking on the name (Bookmark toolbar) opens all the bookmarks instantly could you add and extra step to that like a warning or maybe add that feature to a button or something like that instead of a single click on the title? Seems for me that clicking on the title can easily happen (happened to me 3 times while testing it) and is kinda a hassle.

Also I noticed that when you modify the bookmarks placement or distribution or you remove or add new, sometimes, the UI wont show the changes until you go inside a folder and go back. This happens specially when dealing with folders.

Thanks for taking your time to read this thanks for making this add-on.

***RESPONSE***

That's great I'll be looking forward to it. I have a lot of bookmarks to handle and the add-on would make it a lot easier for me.

If possible please try to keep the UI as a floating window as opening a new tab will make it less handy and less convenient IMO.

Roomy Bookmarks Toolbar

Awesome add-on. (Request) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I would like to make some request if possible. Can you make the rows or bookmarks be independent instead of continuation of the same row? Like if rows were groups of bookmars and maybe it would be also awesome to have a mode where you can click on an arrow pointing up or down and that switches between rows if one prefers to only have 1 row visible at time instead of all the rows showing at once.

Also would it be possible to have custom icons for folders instead of all the folders with the same folder icon?

Thanks for taking your time to read this and for making this add-on

Auto Unload Tab

Issue with Load Background Tabs Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Load Background tabs feature not working on the newest version.

BTW; why did you delete the older versions of the add-on?

EDIT: Like a previous comment said seems to be times where it wont work and times where it works properly. I'll try to see how to replicate the issue.

Zoom Page

Nice add-on + Suggestions Rated 3 out of 5 stars

It would be nice if you could add and option as an alternative to the zoom levels that allows you to set a custom interval level of for example always 10% instead of having to write the list of every zoom value you want. Also it would be nice if you could click on the zoom value and type any value you want there and maybe display the menu on right click and reset with middle click.

Also there are some features that are at least for me a bit confusing so if you could add tooltips to the options explaining what they mean it would be nice.

Thanks for making this add-on.

NewScrollbars (aka NoiaScrollbars)

Response Rated 4 out of 5 stars

The add-on description says the zoom issue it's a bug and that the bug was fixed Firefox 33 and I'm using firefox 39 so I thought that it should be ok. Regarding the zoom issue: Cant you make firefox load a new image when page zoom reaches some number or after pressing a button or key? That way the scrollbar will change size but as soon as it hits a very noticeable point it would get replaced with the new image of the appropriate size.

Regarding the customization on the custom v2 you only get the option of circles instead of buttons it could be triangles or squares or stars or hearts also maybe you can put the option for the user to select an image file for the buttons cap slider and background as a custom v3 so the customization can be endless.

Also the transparent setting on the custom v2 it always makes the background black and in this option and the transparent and transparent v2 option there is an outline on the bar slider that looks bad.

Thanks for the add-on and the time you take to read and respond to comments.

HideScrollbars

Nice add-on Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Could you add the option to show the bar when you reach the right side of the page or the bottom?
