Born on June 19, 1976 in Boston, Massachusetts, Ely Sakhai started performing at a young age. Growing up, Sakhai first became interested in the performing arts through his father, who was a professional musician. He began acting at a young age, appearing in a film when he was just 13 years old. After high school, Ely Sakhai continued to act, receiving appearances in television commercials and small parts on television shows. As Sakhai grew, he began to work more steadily and in higher-profile projects. He has appeared in a sitcom, in a science-fiction series, and more recently Ely Sakhai expanded his repertoire with roles in several primetime soap operas. He has been married with singer Ava Stein for over 10 years and the two of them have two sons.
