Feedly Helper for Tab Badge

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Love the idea, but it doesn't work. It updates once (to the correct number), but nothing I do after seems to refresh the number - unless I refresh the page ('F5', not Feedly's built-in refresh).

YouTube HTML5 Video

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great add-on.
Please consider also making a "HD" version of this add-on (or make it an option) by adding "&hd=1" to the URL.

Feedly - Beyond Google Reader

Fantastic replacement for Google Reader Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Has almost everything Google Reader had, and more. Also has a good layer of polish (which Google Reader appeared to be missing).

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (10.2).

Full Screen mobile

Good idea, bad implementation Rated 2 out of 5 stars

It is good, but the navigation bar and menu are hidden. You have to exit full screen mode to be able to do any thing, other than scroll and tapping on links.

Adblock Plus

Hoping this will improve battery life on the go :)

FabTabs

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Very good idea, has potential, but there are a few inherent problems. 1) Simply put, its a good idea and will certainly keep my eye on this for updates. 2) Seeing which tab is the currently open/active is difficult because of the different colours (although there are some options to tweak this, opacity for example, its still not great). Opacity doesn't help much, and the bold text looks ugly, and doesn't help much anyway. 3) The way that the colour is chosen is very rudimentary/limited. Sometimes it gets it so spot on, other times it gets it very wrong (e.g. a Google search should not have a black tab (with default settings) or a purple tab (with larger screenshot settings) - because of the "dominance" of the navigated links. Also, the default 'screenshot' options often, maybe just for me, choose a colour not representative of the page/site but of a slither of the top of the site - often above the main content of the banner). Again, there are some options to tweak this, like choosing the screenshot position and size, but this is a harder one to try and solve.
Highly recommended - and hopeful of future improvements.

Mozilla Firefox tab 3d Final

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Should be awesome, but I can't see the 3D Firefox.
I have bookmarks hidden (The awesome bar searches through them for me), as well as my menu (I just hit ALT to show it); this is a fairly common setup - especially for laptop/netbook users.
The Firefox symbol needs raising, so I can see more than the top quarter, or a new persona should be created that does this to cater for people with minimal UIs then I will gladly give 5 stars :)

Persona Switcher

Fantastic Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Works very well too.

I have 40 or so personas and have used this add-on to rotate them every 15 minutes. This is also made much more interesting by the fact that personas are synced with FF sync too, meaning when I get home from work, my machine uses the last synced persona - cool! This may not be to everyone's taste (and is not the add-on devs fault, as it is a core feature of FF sync), so a workaround to stop this can be found here:
http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/723446

One improvement I can think of, again - probably nothing the add-on dev can do as it is the way FF loads the personas, is to pre-load the images used in the next persona so that the transition can be a smoother; currently FF swaps persona and then loads the images, making the transition (flicker?) more noticeable than it needs to be.

One last improvement is to make the add-on 'restartless' if possible, as personas don't require a restart - it would make it just that little bit more elegant.

All in all, Good job.

Display Contact Photo

Great Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Genuinely awesome add-on.My only gripe is that there is no "official" Thunderbird 5 compatible release...and at this rate, there won't be one when Thunderbird 6 is released (Which is pretty soon). The author has pretty much missed an entire release of the product. It's fantastic that this add-on is still active, but he needs to roll out updates (even partial, incomplete - but stable) more often.

IE Tab + (FF 8+, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3.6, 3.5, SeaMonkey)

Fantastic Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Love this addon. I try not to use IE at all, but for those few times where I have to use IE, rather than load up IE itself I can simply use this addon. Excellent!

I would love to see support for x64 IE and also use IE8 properly, rather than being relegated to IE8 compatibility mode. It works though, so really can't complain...

With regards to the advertising addon in previous versions, its now gone and my thoughts resonate exactly with a previous reviewer (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ie-tab-plus-self-hosted-versio/reviews/261391/). Thanks for making a clean version, and also for making the better IE tab addon than the rest (trust me, I've tried them all).

IE Tab + (FF 8+, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3.6, 3.5, SeaMonkey)

Better! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I needed a new version of IE Tab after the old version, so I got "IE Tab Plus"; however, I uninstalled it after the introduction of the so-called malware/spyware.Now this version surfaces without the extra malware/spyware I have reinstalled it because of its genuinly useful extra features (cookies and ad-block). This extension has now taken back its crown as the king of the "IE Tabs"!
