FF45 and above problems Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Since FF45 (beta, developer, nightly) Firegestures does not find links, if the website is zoomed above 100%. 100% zoom is okay.

Fixed

Fixed it in Ver.1.10.5.

Pale Moon Problems Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Sadly versions about 1.10.1 don't seem to work on Pale Moon browser - every time I click, it opens a new tab! Meaning that clicking to close one tab opens another... 1.10.1 and older work fine, though.

Why did you change new tab functionality? It's useless now... I will be uninstalling Rated 1 out of 5 stars

The most useful thing about this extension was being able to gesture quickly for a new tab.

Now you broke this functionality so that it won't work unless you are opening a link. It blows my mind that you would break fundamental functionality that has been in this for years.

Don't change basic functionality!!! People will drop your projects like a bad habit.

Very useful, an awesome addon! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I normally have many tabs open, around 90. I always need to switch between them, or open links in new tabs etc.
This addon lets me do all of that, without having to use a context menu, or move my mouse halfway across the screen.

When you are making your own custom shortcuts for different things, you can draw your own pattern and it automatically calculates the directions you have moved in, so you could can use whatever shape you want. A very useful feature!

You can even create your custom script (if you are a programmer), and action to go with it, something I found very useful.

I only have one problem, you cannot start drawing your gesture when you move the mouse ONLY WHILE holding Ctrl or Alt, meaning I occasionally make a mouse gesture when I don't want to.

This is one of my favorite addons, and one of the most useful out there, I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

Came from Opera Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I used to use web browser called Opera which had a mouse gesture when you held down right click and moved the mouse to left it would go to the previuos page you were in. When I moved to using Firefox I missed that feature and then I found this and have been using it ever since that day

Essentials Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This addon is one of the absolute essentials you simply need to get the sh** done.
You can configure everything and a lot more to happen when you make gesture, move your wheel or even rock your buttons!

Works well on touchscreens Rated 5 out of 5 stars

As the owner of a new convertible laptop running Windows 10, I wanted to be able to navigate websites easily in tablet mode, without having to constantly reach for the tiny back/forward buttons in the top left of the screen, or trying to click the tabs or tiny close tab buttons, again at the top of the screen, which is not natural when using a tablet. And impossible if you're using full-screen, where the UI buttons aren't visible.

While it doesn't appear to aimed at touchscreens, FireGestures is the best solution I could find, and it does work well. You just do a long touch to simulate a right mouse click, then do your gesture, and you can map any gesture to any Firefox function, like closing/switching tabs, back/forward, searching etc.

If you're scrolling around a page with your finger you may occasionally start a gesture by accident, but mostly it's not very annoying because the up/down gestures don't do anything if you're not on a link.

Awesome... but stoped working in Firefox 42.0 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

One of my vital plugins. Just awesome.
But... as of Firefox 42.0 it seems that something is wrong, the visual line indicator works, but that's about it. No other functionality works.
I'm sure it's just a compatibility issue and is caused by (possible) changes that come with Firefox version upgrade, so I'm not too concerned.
Just wanted to notify about the issue.

bug report - autoselected text at mouse over Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Since 2014, this extension has a serious bug: In certain conditions, the mouse pointer selects (highlights) blocks of text automatically without clicking anything, like the left mouse button has been stuck. Older versions are ok.
Steps to reproduce the bug:
---
Open one on more tabs
In one tab, open Google (or another server with a web fom).
In other tab, open some random web page.
In the tab with Google, left click into the search field, then click anywhere else on the page on an empty space (not link).
Switch to the other tab and move mouse over the text - it will be highlighted as you move the mouse, without clicking.
---
It happens very ofter (not always).
Please, correct this bug. Thank you.

This needs an update! Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I have been noticing freezes/crashes with Nightly 44. It crashes sometimes when I use a mouse gesture to make an arrow up the page, which is how I close tabs. I can't say for sure that it is Fire Gestures causing it, but as I said that's when it happens. It's very rare, but it happens eventually. I might try using the All In One Gestures extension and see if that makes a difference. It could just be a buggy alpha Nightly 44 for all I know.

The best add-on for FF! But native ShowAllTabs command is missing in the new versions Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Really one of the reasons I am using Firefox. Total control of FF.
Allow me to control FF via gestures and clicks! !

One problem: In the last versions, the action to run the FireFox native command that shows all tabs was removed. I am using it to run showcase add-on to see all tabs in nice preview screen.

So for now, we need to change browser.rdf every time you release a new version and add RDF:resource="urn:Browser:ShowAllTabs"

Please bring back this command from the dead :)

Btw, to use this command you must have 'list all tabs' icon on the normal toolbar or in the Vertical Toolbar.

Great... but one problem Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is my favorite gesture add-on; it works the most fluidly and feels faster. There's one glaring problem that forces me to use a different extension: when I'm on a page that is not at exactly 100% zoom there is no recognition of the link the gesture starts on, as it sees the link where it used to be before the zoom altered the page. That is when I'm using it to open links in new tabs and such. Maybe this is only a problem in the developer edition of firefox.
