Improvement: I've added this:
mapaPlus.login2 = function()
Because when I set my master password: it doesn't show my login+password on the web page...
With this hack it works fine :-)
Does not prevent firefox from closing even when the window is locked Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Kindly incorporate an option for preventing window from being closed if the window is locked.
if another user tries to close locked window, prompt should be shown to enter master password.

Nice job, many thanks Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Working a treat on Mavericks with FF 45.
Only question would, in your description there is a gray lock screen, and a nicer translucent blue one. I can only get the gray lock screen. How do I get the blue one?
Thanks for a nice add-on
You probably going to need downgrade to Windows 7...the transparency/color is OS itself feature.

Good AddOn.. but needs improvements.. Rated 4 out of 5 stars
1) If you lock your windows screen ( Ctrl+Alt+Del or ScreenSaver ), and MasterPassword+ locks Firefox while Windows is locked, and you come back to the computer.. the Firefox window is only transaprent locked. You cannot use Firefox ( there comes Login/Password popup ) but you can read the current tab. Somehow unsecure..
2) If you set MasterPassword+ to lock Firefox automatically after a time period.. MP+ often don't note user interactions with Firefox ( mouse movement, page scrolls, link clicks, tab changings ). While working with Firefox it first locks the password and sometimes it even locks the Firefox window. This is just crappy!
Please fix it. 5 stars for it then!
This version seems to be working well! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I've tried a bunch of these and keep wishing FF would make much of this native. This version seems to be working as expected. Thanks!

When you open firefox in safe mode then you delete this add and start firefox normally without password.
Is there any protection against this??
If you'd read the declaimer, you'd know.

Thanks a lot to the developper, I just changed desktop environnement to cinnamon / linux and thunderbird asked me just 7 times the master password ... (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=177175)

Works well. Rated 4 out of 5 stars
UPDATE: I believe the password requests were coming from Thunderbird and NOT this extension. If you are having trouble with password dialogue box floods, you can disable your master password by going to Tools > Options > Security > Passwords and UNcheck the master password option. Leaving my full review up in case anyone else has trouble with Thunderbird.
This extension worked great the first couple of days. Now, it continues to spam me, asking me for a password. I've messed with the settings, and even uninstalled it at this point, yet I keep getting flooded with dialogue boxes "Password Required: Please enter the master password for the Software Security Device."
Use Master Password+ if you really need a password for Thunderbird, and if you're willing to deal with the flood. Otherwise, avoid.
UPDATE: Again, the flood came from Thunderbird's master password option and NOT the Master Password+ extension.

Esto es lo mejor de lo mejor, lo que buscaba era bloquear mi firefox cada vez que lo intentara abrir y para poder desbloquearlo para usarlo tenia que poner una clave. Esta genial! :DThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (18.104.22.168-signed).

I am very satisfied with this module.
I would appreciate an option to flush to password cache selectively for each group (POP/IMAP and or SMTP)
Also I noticed a problem with the "seen" indicator. This extension interferes with the message "seen" indicator. Most latest messages are displayed as not "seen" whereas they have been seen before.
