thanks! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I used to have an addon that did just this and i loved it so much because it saved me from having to open SO many tabs when goin through movie lists, but then it got deserted by the creator and hasnt been compatible for quite a while. This one is even better tho because of the extra search links and such. the flyout window is layed out better than the other addon by default, but lacks the customization that one had (let you set size of poster, font, and window dimensions).

Aside from adding those interface customization options, i cant think of many ways to improve this great addon, thanks for making it, and i hope you continue to update it for many years to come!

Split Pannel

Almost perfect! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This addon works much better for me than previous addons i have used. With Splitbrowser or Tiletab, the tab that you tile is still listed among your tabs, and you always had to be careful to click into the proper tab before navigating with the on screen or mouse buttons (because it might open page in the wrong tile otherwise. I like to make use of my widescreen aspect ratio by having chatzilla tiled to the right and taking up about 1/3 of the horizontal screen resolution, leaving me a roughly 5:4 rile on the left for webbrowsing. I never have to worry about the navigating im doing in the left pane accidentally closing out chatzilla in the other tile if i forget to click back into the proper tile after typing in iRC.

the one problem i have tho is the way that pages are tiled. you have to open the page in a tab and then right click in the tab content somewhere and hit Tile>Right (or whatever direction). I think it would be much better if you made it so that you can right-click on links or bookmarks and have that same context menu option to open the link in a tile. The reason this is so annoying is that i have chatzilla set to autoperform my irc logins when i open it, and when i open it in a tab in order to tile it (which opens another instance of chatzilla which also tries to login) its not able to log in on the tile because it was already doing it in the first one. hope thats not confusing lol

also it would be nice to have the ability to zoom on the tiled tab. i just increased the fontsize in chatzilla to remedy this problem, but i could imagine other ppl finding it a bigger issue for what theyre trying to do.

but im not going to knock a star off for this one, since its so perfect for my needs one i get things situated.

ChromaTabs Plus

FF4 Update? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I cant find an addon that does as good of a job coloring my tabs as chromatabs. Currently using Fabtabs for the time being, but, eh, its not picking up colors as well. Please update soon :)

Fox Splitter (formerly Split Browser)

hoping for ff4 update Rated 5 out of 5 stars

One of the most essential addons. i hope it gets updated to FF4. I'm currently using Tile Tabs instead, but it doesnt function quite the same.

Feedly - Beyond Google Reader

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Its a nice way to present and organize your RSS feeds. Great for getting the tops stories from multiple sources at a glance.

It would be much nice if users could customize the appearance tho, and assign custom backgrounds or even select from predefined theme. The brightness is just too much.

Hide Caption Titlebar Plus

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

One of the first addons i install on a fresh FF installation. Very important on laptops and 16:9 aspect monitors for more vertical screen space. The fact that it can hide the menu bar now means i can eliminate the Tiny/Compact Menu addons that i used before, which is convenient. I just put some blank space between the menu and back button and before the minimize/close buttons to give space for ppl to click and drag window around.

my only complain so far is that the minimiZe/restore/close buttons are way too tiny. There is no reason for them to be this small IMO. I think there should be an option to double/triple size. Its not a big deal when i'm at my desk using my mouse, but if im in HTPC mode and kicking back with my wireless KB with built in trackball, it can be pretty hard to be so precise.

CoolPreviews

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Nice, cool, convenient. The only problem I have with it is that you can't use your scroll wheel or back/forward mouse buttons on the preview pages. If you try scrolling even when you have your cursor over the preview window, it just zooms the main page and controls navigation on it. If this was fixed, it would be perfect

TV-FOX - Watch TV Online

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Nice add-on as far as watching some of the local (country-wise) channels. Foreign channels buffer every few seconds, so they're really not worth it (and that's on a 8Mb connection here). I don't like how it has to be it's own toolbar and hogs more of my valuable vertical screen space on my 16:9 monitor. It would be nice if it could all be condensed into a toolbar/statusbar button with cascading menus, or if there was a quick-hide button for the toolbar..

URL Shrink Easy

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

i love the convenience of this add-on, having the button right in the address bar is great and exactly what i wanted.

however, i do not like the context menu options, specifically how the shrink options are added to the top of the context menu, above "Open in new tab", so i end up clicking on the wrong option a lot now.

An option to add this more towards the bottom of the context menu would make this add-on perfect.

Bookmarks menu

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Does what I need it to! I've been trying to reduce the amount of vertical screen space that the firefox menus use, so I eliminated my toolbar, got the compact menu extension and moved all the navigation buttons (including this) successfully into the menu bar.

ReminderFox

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

great thunderbird add-on for someone with a bad memory like myself. only issue i've ran into is that the automatic syncing to my FTP server does not work right. I can manually import/export without problems, but when i create a reminder on one machine it never automatically adds itself to reminderfox on the other. Also, if I delete reminders they are not removed from other machines, even if i manually export after deletion. If I could get around these problems this would be perfect...

Hide Caption Titlebar Plus

OMG, this is perfect! Thank you. It's exactly what i was looking for. My quest of optimizing FF to use less vertical screen space than chrome is finally at an end. My netbook is now awesome for browsing!

Dark Revisited

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

very nice. dark yet clear and readable. I would have preferred a darker menu toolbar along the top, with a light font, but that's very minor.

LavaFox V2

great Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very nice theme. My old theme wasn't compatible when I updated FF, but fortunately I came across this one.

I'd love to see a matching thunderbird theme ;-)

Black Google

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The download button isn't working, so I can't try this add-on. But I think ppl that are rating this poorly because there is no power saving when using an LCD monitor are being a bit harsh. I just wanted something that turns google black because I hate bright white screens and I use google frequently. This looks like it would be perfect for me, but i cant tell atm since i cant d/l it.

BloodThunder

best fit for my system theme Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This is a nice theme consisting of my two favorite colors. I've been trying to eradicate overly-white window backgrounds on my system (due to the fact that it is often connected to large displays in an otherwise dark environment). This theme works very well in that regard, once you set the message view to have a black background and white text.

For the most part, it's also good as far as visibility goes. The only major issue I have with this theme at all is the alternating message colors, and I see others have mentioned it also. The grey to black to red just doesn't work, as the red font blends with the red along the bottom, and a bit with the grey on the top. This coloring works well on the tool bar and other areas where there are larger/bold fonts, but not so well with the smaller text of the message list. A couple other minor changes:

On my "Compose" window, the subject and font bars are a light blue/grey shade, which is just a bit of an eyesore. Also, in the same window, the "Security" button looks a bit off (see here: http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk265/steiner666/thunderblood.jpg ) and when you put your cursor on it, it moves up/down and tiles. Also, maybe have unread messages stand out a bit more.

IMO, I think the alternating colors on the inbox list should be either reversed to black font on red background, white font, or leave it the way it is if the font could be outlined a bit in black somehow to make it stand out more. Although ideally, there should a menu for changing/disabling the alternating altogether.

Overall, it's the best theme available, at least to fit my tastes. I'd love to see an updated version with these things fixed though.
