It's fair. But it doesn't override conflicting hotkey. Nor does it show a warning. (eg: ctrl+shift+r)
Also it lacks an option for a verification dialog to prevent accidental restarts, which is a desired feature for restarting just as much as for exiting.
It's a must have. It's ridiculous that without it I have to click in the location bar, or a tab to be able to take away the focus from flash. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2).
480p and 1080p+ are only available as video streams only with separate audio streams of different quality.
This addon does not make it available to download them.
Great addon. Has very few issues. A lot less than youtube by default. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.1).
It's cool. I only miss simple reload dialog. I keep accidentally relading the browser, most of the time when I want to press ctr+alt+t for tab duplication. I got rather used to the hotkeys as most users so asking before restarting would be nice.
Status bar was removed ages ago, yet no toolbar label/button available for zoom level.
Something got broken no too long ago. If I middle click an image the zoom level changes. It's a nightmare with auto scrolling, which I use a lot.
Whatever I do in a page shouldn't even effect this addon...
This works very well, and has all the formats unlike others.
The only thing I miss is an in-page button near the video that some other addons have. It would make usage more straight-forward and convenient.
Generates an invalid filename for this:
It's great, but it would be much more useful if it showed the number of ratings. The information that a 1000 people voted something down or just one matters a lot.
I think this needs a whitelist too. For example on one website there's this really annoying page background ad link (which I constantly click accidentally), which since it's in js is there even if I hide the background in with the adblocker. But I need for the forum to work properly. (Where there aren't any background ads.) So I have to block/enable the site all the time. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.9).
It seems it's half broken with current versions of firefox. The context menu item doesn't appear. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.7.1).
I think there's a new bug with filenaming in 0.0.0.5. It looks like the last character is always cut with all youtube videos. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.0.0.3). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
When there's a ":" in the page title for the youtube video it generates an invalid filename with some invisible invalid character. When the video title name ends with a "." the file extension is missing.
A smaller issue is that it can't always determine the filesize of the videos, which is a neat an unique feature BTW.
This would be really could if the addon could browse useragentstring.com, to load UA strings from there. Because that site has up to date user agent strings.
Or an autoload a constantly updated xml list would be about as good too. But I don't know of any such lists...
It doesn't fully work. I still get "moz-action:switchtab,..." in the urlbar, when I press down to delete the url. And of course the url doesn't actually get deleted, only disappears and its there the next time. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.0.2). It works fine to completely disable switch to tab as said earlier. An option to completely disable switching would be nice so it wouldn't compare url-s needlessly.
A simple gui would be welcome to. With a checkbox for completely disabling and a textbox for the regex expressions.
A context menu icon would be nice so I could find it faster. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1).
It does what it says but you still can't delete the current page from the history by simply pressing down and then del. So it doesn't fix everything that switch to tab messed up.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.0.1).
It really needs an option to configure tool-tip delay.
Also the favicon could be showed based on domain name match and not by exact url match.
