Make url bar empty Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Personally, the add-on still work on my side. Some weeks ago, i asked if it was possible to add an option which would make the urlbar blank, like the default about:newtab page.
I did a bootstrap extension which do the job, here is the code of the bootstrap.js page, if you're willing to add the option to your add-on, you can use this code and simply edit it to add the custom url into the gInitialPages var, in the function editgInitialPages line 152
Does what it say, thanks ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
First, thanks for this extension.
A request: an option to make the url bar empty, like the real about:newtab page. It can probably "easily" be done by adding the url to gInitialPages (this var is defined in C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\browser\omni.ja and in omni.ja, it's in chrome\browser\content\browser\browser.js
let gInitialPages = [
It work, i tried myself to edit omni.ja, but of course the change go away after each update : ) And i'm not a developer, i didn't managed to make it work by tweaking your extension
Requested feature : blank urlbar (for a local file for example) Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Good addon, thanks for your work !
However, it would be great to add the ability to hide the url, so it would make the custom new tab page look like the standard about:newtab. I personnaly use a local file for the new tab, so seeing the url to my local file in the urlbar is useless.
Again, thank you for this addon.

The more powerful language add-on so far, but it would be good to add these two functions :
- ability to show wikitionary or wikipedia on double click (it's easier than a keyboard shortcut when you read something). The cons are that it can lead to unwanted apparitions, but maybe you can wait for mouse hover or mouse click inside the popup before loading the full wiki page.
- ability to drag the popup around the windows by clicking on the top 20px.
Out of that, it work great, the ability to browse the wiki directly from the popup is a great idea.
