Thanks for the tip on the CSS script. I hadn't spotted that the "reload bookmarks" field is specified there. I've now moved the reload button up to top left and indented the "body" of bookmarks (padding-left 150px;) so that the reload button does not interfere with the bookmarks. It's great... The reload button is visible at the top-left no matter how many pages I scroll through the bookmarks. Incidentally one has to change the reload hover definition to match reload. I've also tinkered with various field colors to suit my preferences. I hesitate to append the long CSS definition here, but if you are interested I can give you a dropbox share (via private e-mail) to exchange further comments and ideas. Many thanks for your very speedy help and for the Firefox 13 bug fix. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.5.1-signed). This user has 3 previous reviews of this add-on.
Now works fine with Firefox 13, although it seems to take much longer to load/reload bookmarks or open a folder in the bookmarks. It's so useful to have all the bookmarks to hand when you open a new tab... and you don't loose screen space with the sidebar. The only feature I would like to see is to have the "reload bookmarks" at the top as well as at the bottom. Any chance of that one? Many thanks for fixing the Firefox 13 problem. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.5.1-signed). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
Seems to have bit the dust with the release of Firefox 13 and its "new tab" handling. I've tried twiddling the settings in about:config but haven't been able to solve the problem. Does anyone know the solution?
I find the bookrect display very useful so for the time being I've backed off to Release 12 of Firefox. I really hope that CodeRect can find some time to fix this in the near future...
I have lots and lots of bookmarks and this lets me see them whenever I open a new tab without loosing space with the left-hand bookmarks pane. It works perfectly, and one can easily customize the style sheet to use colors and fonts of your choice. My only wish so far is to have a "reload" field at the top as well as at the bottom. Can the developer (or someone else) give me an idea where to find the html template so I can hack this myself? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.4.1-signed).
