A music fans' view Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Music according to my opinion is a form of expression. The kind of music a person listens to reflects his current mood and persona. Music can be your best companion at moments of desperation or celebration. And Stumble Upon right from FF2.0 has helped me get closer with music and evolve my musical taste. From obtaining a list of compilations such as 'The 100 greatest instrumentals of all time', coming to know of unheard of underground artists , bands with the weirdest names ever, song facts/trivia and other music discovery websites SU has always been there with me. I turn onto SU whenever I start riding my emotional roller coaster (which is pretty often) to generate music that matches my mood. As good as this service is the FF toolbar with unique features such as keyboard shortcuts, tagging and search highlighting which makes my Musicovery a lot more pleasurable. In short SU service along with its FF toolbar is the best way to discover and enjoy music! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.11.1-signed).
The name says it all! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This add-on provides a set of tasks that can be initiated via keyboard control. These tasks include searching on multiple search engines, weather/temp, calc, tab counts, e-mail check, twitter posting etc. all without having to move to new tabs.
The attractive feature is you can customize it by adding set of custom commands created by developers. For instance you can add custom search engines to ubiquity, a local one from my country enables tracking a train and a lot more.
Suggestion would be to make it more adaptive. For instance if some other add-on is installed its list of commands could be made accessible via ubiquity. This project deserves a lot more respect and active development.
In short this add-on is one of the reasons i would say firefox is a lot cooler than chrome. For all keyboard shortcut maniacs this one is a must have.
