Now that it also has the option to save the generated image, this addon is perfect! Thank you very much. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.3).
Great addon. Thank you very much. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.9).
Nice. Thank you. Do you plan to support Thunderbird? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).
The new version with the tabbed interface is really great. I'm having a problem though: hovering the mouse on a news item pops up a constantly flickering gray rectangle, could probably be related with some other addon. And, in the tabbed interface, it would be very nice if the left pane (containing the feed list) could be displayed in the sidebar.
EDIT: It looks like Bamboo Feed Reader has this problem when it is in the tabbed mode and a vertical tabbar addon (like Tree Style Tab or Vertical Tabs) is active. I've posted the issue to Google Groups. I will also post the sidebar issue as a feature request there.
EDIT: It is fixed in version 1.1.2. Thanks.
I second the feature request about having it run in a tab. Nice to hear that the developer is planning to add it. Thanks. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.1).
Sorry to hear that Screengrab is discontinued. Anyway, thanks for this great add-on. I've used it for several years and I will continue using it until it is really broken by some update in FF. The Screenshoter add-on might be a candidate to replace it.
New versions add unexplained "sponsorship" behaviour and change license to "all rights reserved". This is more than enough reason for me to uninstall it and strongly discourage others to use it.
Perfect. Lets you get rid of all the unnecessary replies that accumulate during longer conversations. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8.7).
Having tried a few, I think this is the most usable dictionary add-on. The only minor issue for me is that its icon for the menu bar is VERY large and seems pointless (try to put it on the menu bar). Even if you don't put it on the menu bar, it takes up a lot of space in the customization window. Is that icon really necessary? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0).
Very nice add-on but I have a problem: I can move its icon between the menu bar and the add-on bar but if I remove it from both (so that I can use it only through the context menu), it reappears on the menu bar after a Firefox restart.
UPDATE: I thought I had fixed this review and my rating. The abovementioned issue is my fault, the addon does handle the case correctly.
I would definitely recommend this addon to anyone who is looking for an editor for writing Sphinx documents. It is very comprehensive and easy to use. The issue with the confusing keybindings, which causes the addon search to misbehave, is resolved as of version 2.3.1 (it can be found through the"view all versions" link). The developer is also very helpful and actively maintains the code. It might still be a good idea to install it in a separate Firefox profile since it defines keybindings some of which are not directly related to its core purpose and adds two items to the Firefox main menu, which I think that many users who might be in the target audience of this addon will not like. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.2). Really wonderful addon, thank you very much. My only problem is that when there is a country code at the of the address, the domain guessing algorithm only handles the *.co.* case but not *.com.* (or edu, org, gov etc.). I think this unnecessarily hinders the use of the addon with non-US and UK sites and, as far as I can see, it can easily be fixed in the passhass-common.js file. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.6).
This is a very nice and comprehensive addon for preparing Sphinx documents but there seem to be some rough edges. I'm experiencing issues with keybindings (Ctrl-Z and Ctrl-X close the current tab). When it is installed along with other addons, the dropdown selection boxes may stop working in Firefox. But all in all, I think this has much promise and I would recommend it as long as it is installed in a separate Firefox profile as the only addon. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.2).
This add-on is really a must-have when using vertical tabs. There seems to be a minor incompatibility with the Oxygen theme in FF4 though. I've filed an issue about it: https://github.com/piroor/unifiedsidebar/issues/2This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.2011021901).
I've tried other similar addons but I keep coming back to this one. Good thing I've kept a copy of NightWolf1298's 3.5.3 version. I've bumped its maxversion and put it on: http://web.itu.edu.tr/uyar/digger-3.5.3a.xpi
