This is the best epub reader software I've found yet. I just wish it gave you the option of whether to add a book to your library or not instead of doing so automatically. I know you can remove books in your library, but still, it would be nicer if you had the choice in the first place. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (184.108.40.206). I wish it did because I'm another who hates that we can no longer set FF to not retain download history without also giving up browsing history. I hope this extension gets updated to work again soon. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1).
It was good until the latest update meant it won't work with my FF version (which I just reinstalled; the latest FF fell far short of greatest for me). Gornita, you don't have to actively support older versions of FF, but you could still make previous versions available on your website. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.7).
When I installed this extension recently I had to choose between the free version and the adware version. When I tried to download a song from youtube today it demanded that I upgrade to the ad-supported version if I wanted to download anything. Apparently the so-called free version is just there to try to make you download the adware version. I immediately removed it and restarted Firefox. Now, on to check out the dozen or so other youtube-downloader extensions. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.9).
This is a great epub reader. I've tried a few others and this is my fave -- for one thing, it easily reads epubs that crash CoolReader. But I have a LOT of epub files thanks to Project Gutenberg, FeedBooks and a few other sites. I don't want every epub I open added to my library. It would be awesome if the next version would give us more control over this feature. Maybe you could add an option to turn off library management (I do well enough on my own with a basic file manager). Alternatively, an option to turn on a confirmation dialog so that it asks if you want to add this epub to your library would be great. Well, thanks for the great reader. I hope you will consider these ideas too. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (220.127.116.11).
It won't allow me to add *any* sites to automatically load flash. No matter what the URL of the site, it says it contains invalid characters. Not only is it wrong, but why code it in the first place with such limitations? Why not allow the user to put any site on the whitelist, no matter what the URL is?This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.2).
