My Reviews

GoogleSharing

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm not sure why some people are having problems, but I am testing this extension as we speak, and it's working fine.

When I go to Google, or Google Maps without the extension, Google is tracking my location and redirects both the search page to the local one (something I HATE so much that is the reason why I don't use google!), and pinpoints my location in Maps.
With the extension enabled, Google sees me as if I am in the US, and can't find me in Maps.
And the extension is NOT blocking gmail.

So. the extension IS working, and it's really protecting my privacy.

Excellent work!

Locationbar²

Excellent addon! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Not only does what it says, but it also lets you use the address to navigate within it. For example, when open the address for this extension, clicking on the "mozilla.org" portion of it takes you to the parent domain.

It's simply brilliant!

Dear Mozilla developers: Why is this not a default feature for Firefox?!

NewTab Background Shuffler

Brilliant! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This extension is fantastic!
The newtab with thumbnails that FF added since version 13 was an excellent improvement, but it is frankly boring. Adding a background image makes it much more visually attractive.
So, using your extension, the background photo is a different one each time - you have with a simple solution made Firefox more beautiful.

A suggestion: Maybe you can integrate all your background setting extensions in just one (the shuffler one is the obvious choice). Just to keep everything tidy.

Anyway, great work! Congratulations!

History Button

Adds consistency. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thanks!

An oddity with the new FF-4 behavior: The default History icon only opens the actual history bar, instead of the menu; while the current Bookmarks button does open the bookmarks menu.
This extension adds consistency to the buttons.

Good job.

Kudos to Rob64rock and Spunker for the tip.

There's no reason why Windows users should have all the looks!

Strata RELOADED

Great for KDE (Linux)! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A VERY BIG tanks to the developer!

I always have found annoying that FF in KDE (Linux) looks rather uglier compared to Windows. This theme not only gives FF the same appearance, but it looks even better!
Why is this not the default theme for Firefox for Linux?

Paste and Go 3

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It works GREAT!
I've been trying to get this functionality back since the last FF update, and now it's here. Thanks.

A tip for those interested: If you configure Paste and Go 3 to open pasted URLs in new tab, and select "Paste will - replace whole text field", you get double functionality:
1- clicking "paste and go" in the address bar of a new opened tab will, of course, do that.
2- Clicking "paste and go" in the address bar of your CURRENT tab, will open the URL in a new tab while keeping your current tab open!

Fantastic work. 5 stars.

Paste to Tab and Go

Ammend to my comment Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I'll reply to my own comment below:

The current version of Paste and Go ( https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/9133/ ) already does that, if you configure it properly. It can either paste and go to a blank tab, or to a new tab. So it fulfills both functions.

Paste to Tab and Go

It works, but could it be improved? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

For those complaining that you have to open the tab first: NO YOU DON'T HAVE TO.
You right click on the TAB BAR, and select "Paste to tab a go". It's as simple as that.
However, it would be great if we could have both functionalities: the "paste to tab" and the classic "paste and go" in just one extension. Right now, I am using both extensions. Suggestion for the developer?
Thanks.
