Ardent fan of Firefox, except themes and the mobile versions. Could not live (well ...) without the extensions.
A really good idea! Could be very useful, not least to find what would be the right html 'code' to select for "Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus". That would be my primary purpose.
BUT - as others have mentioned - much of the tags are placed weird places or on top of each other. (I'm using the newest version of FF in the shape of the fork Palemoon that's completely compatible with FF, just compiled as 64 bit).
On my Win7 Pro I've increased the global font size with 25%. I don't know if that has anything to do with this problem (don't think so). A few apps (including some MS ones) have not taken into consideration that a user might take advantage of this Windows feature (!!).
I'm looking forward to the author addressing this problem. I know the version number hasn't reached v1.0 yet. So I'm not too disappointed. Things take time and user testing has to be done. :) I know from my own experience with programming.
BUT IT's still worth trying out. It MIGHT work perfectly for YOU! :)
It's indispensable to me. It's simply my main entrance to the internet. Works flawlessly. I had to replace 'the other Speed Dial' since it caused me some problems (maybe due to my setup?). This one has worked without a hitch since I installed it about a year ago. Thanks! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.2.0).
When clicking the Options button I get the message: "can't find the file at jar:file:///C:/Users/[xxxx]/AppData/Roaming/[xxxx]/email@example.com!/app/options.html." And the Options window is tiny tiny ... :) Can't rate it yet. Have to give it SOME stars though to submit this. Update (Aug. 2013): Just removed it. The Options button makes FF freeze. Maybe it works on the regular 32 bit FF, but I'm using the 64 bit fork of FF called Palemoon.
Nice and without glitches. Using version 7.1 on my Win7 right now. Super! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0).
Perfect. Makes everything clear: Toolbar text, buttons etc. Liiiiike it! I use it!
Update (Aug 2013): Don't use it anymore. Don't remember why.
I'm using a 64 bit version of Firefox. SPDY indicator doesn't work with that. Is there any chance that you'll make a version that works with a 64 bit browser?
Update (Aug. 2013): Support for SPDY is now built into FF.
I've been wondering about Lastpass, but so far Secure Login has everything that I need. It is NEAT!
Update (Aug. 2013): I'm now using LastPass. Nothing beats it!
Simply wouldn't be without it. It's great to have quick access to your extensions, bookmarks etc. Doesn't cause problems of any kind on my WinXP pro.
Update (Aug. 2013): It's still a fabulous piece of software - on my Win7 Pro. Still love it! Don't know if it works on Win8 (prob do), but don't care. I'm not going there. ;)
Wonderful thing! Wish list: Function to rename file while it's being downloaded; button to quickly hide the bar for a few seconds (for when it covers something on a web page). This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.6.5).
I like this add-on very much. Have just upgraded to FF 3.5 and CFT didn't work. Couldn't uninstall it - even with multiple restarts of FF - installed the new version of CFT. Can't get that to work either. FF constantly demands restarts, but same problem. Can't find any help on the CFT-website. Could you help?
Update (Aug. 2013): Doesn't use it anymore. It might work now, though. But no idea.
Sorry, I meant I wish groups had NOT been added! ;)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.0.3). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Very useful. Works nicely. I would wish though that groups had not been added. We need simple and light-weight add-ins.
Update (Aug 2013): Problems with Speed Dial made me switch to FVD Speed Dial with Full Online Sync. Don't use sync though, but I like this extension very much, and have no problems with it.
Didn't find any solutions for me. Good idea if it worked. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.1).
