Did it ever work? Rated 1 out of 5 stars
This has to be the single most frustrating add-on/app I have EVER attempted to use. All it manages to do is freeze my browser. I'm trying to find out how to remove it, since I continually have to "Control/Alt/DEL to get onto anything other than the Xmarks log-in Popup. NOT pleased. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (126.96.36.199-signed).

WOT is a very good, easy to use, easy to install little program, and much better than McAfee SiteAdvisor, who uses, IMHO, the "Who will pay more for a good rating?" form of ratings. WOT actually goes by User Feedback, which is refreshing after the mess McAfee made of SiteAdvisor.
If your rating disagrees with other users on a site, WOT will ask for input, and make adjustments. On the other "Site", 500 users can say a site spams, and if they paid premium, SA will still list it green.
As an update, on this date, 07/20/12, it appears that WOT is now taking the same approach as SA. Such a shame. I know a site is good, and 2 people listed it as bad, so WOT changed it to a bad rating and won't change it. I guess I will remove WOT from my system now.
