Broadcasts your password - BEWARE MAJOR SECURITY HOLE! Not yet rated
Both the torrent-finder.com website and the toolbar broadcast the password that you enter for a particular site TO EVERY SITE ON THE LIST, IN PLAIN TEXT!!!! whether or not you are a member of that site.
Let me rephrase it again to be absolutely clear. When you enter your password for a private torrent site so that torrent-finder can search said site, the PLAIN TEXT PASSWORD is sent to EVERY SINGLE SITE ON THE LIST as a GET request like: login.php?username=xxx&password=xxxx
There is an enormous amount of password leaking happening. Numerous reports have been made by various people to the torrent-finder.com owner, but he is completely uninterested, just wants more hits and ad revenue.
This was fixed long ago please go to http://torrent-finder.com/login-private-sites.php or http://torrent-finder.com/ and choose private logins, you can choose only the sites you have an account with. Moreover, to report a bug related to the website please visit http://forums.torrent-finder.com/questions-f5/index.html

Just downloaded and works great! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I am only writing this because if wait too long I wont write it. I just downloaded this add-on searched for a not too famous band and found it with relative ease. It gave me the amount seeders and lechers. It was very straightforward and easy. I recommend giving it a try. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1).
Very nice - recommended, but... Rated 4 out of 5 stars
It's the best torrent search tool I can think of - I highly recommend it. It makes it unbelievably easy to find torrents of any kind (although you have to sign up to a lot of torrent sites to actually download the torrents. For sites like Demonoid, it's WELL worth doing so.)
It doesn't actually take you directly to the torrent page - it uses kind of a frame setup with an external URL. For example, I searched for "torrent" using this extention, and the URL for the demonoid search results was "http://www.torrent-finder.com/open.php?name=torrentportal&kw=Torrent". Also, it sometimes pops up little ad window (but it appears blank if you have Adblock installed, thankfully.)
Aside from those two little issues, it's one of my favorite addons. An ocean of laughter for a pool of sorrow. Worth while trade.
Excellent!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I do love this extension. It's a very practical one.
It can search around 100 torrent sites. Many I didn't even hear off before.
I have though a request to the developer. Is there a way to search all the 100 sites and then display the results on a single page showing the torrent file it found?
Good job though
Way to go Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Very clean add-on. No background port access or trojan/spyware detected so far. Furthermore, the torrent-related sites database is huge!. Easy to customize and it was a good idea to include banners for those who are very visual.
Give it a try and write a review =)
