Pretty fancy Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Since I use "Go Parent Folder" constantly, this is the perfect complement to it. Great for people who use the sidebar for their bookmark organizing, helping to search through (tons of) their bookmarks to find a particular one and where it's located.
Thanks for the tip about clicking on the far left of the search result to select but not load it - I never knew that.
Possible bug: If you use the "Go Parent Folder" addon and use the Go Parent menu item on the search result, then this extension's little window closes itself neatly out of the way (perfect). But if you use the Ctrl-F1 shortcut, the window does not close, so you have the same tree in both windows.
Exclelente! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Muito bem feita e bastante útil! Gostei muito de ver onde está localizado o favorito encontrado! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (126.96.36.199-signed.1-signed).
Almost there Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Two things annoys me:
1) I can not search for folder names, only bookmark names.
2) when I remove the search term the hieararchy and the bookmark found is lost, so I have to find the folder in some other way.
All what I want is bascially the search tree. I want that the only difference when removing the search term should be that the tree expands to match the emtpy string, but the found folder and/or the found bookmark should be selected and visible.

Нерабочее дополнение Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Захожу в закладки (Ctr+Shift+B)>> поиск закладки >> ничего дополнительного не отображается - расположение закладки не найдено. Походу, дополнение не работает.
оказывается она работает только в боковой панели - что не очень удобно.

Basic Tool, Badly needed Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Find exactly where in your 1,000s of Bookmarks WHERE your Bookmark ACTUALLY IS. Been putting up with this problem for 20-30yrs, why it hasn't been built into FireFox is beyond me.

This will run very slow and sometimes appear to hang under the following conditions:
- have a long list of bookmarks
- search for an item
- click on a found item
- in the tree, scroll up and down
After a few uses of the above steps this addon will hang firefox for several seconds. It will even cause Windows to display "Not responding" in the title bar.
Fantastic! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I've been looking on and off for years for this functionality. Thanks so much!
It needs a bit of guidance on how to use e.g. need to highlight a bookmark using cursor or right-click and the tree appears in the lower half of the sidebar.

That is what standard FF bookmarks search lacks. Great addon for easy search of bookmarksThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (184.108.40.206-signed.1-signed).
Useful, awkward Rated 3 out of 5 stars
The functionality to find the folder of a bookmark should be in the Firefox core. This add-on provides that feature (thank you) but the user interface is awkward and not obvious. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (220.127.116.11-signed.1-signed).

Thanks very much for this extension. I have over 800 bookmarks, all carefully arranged in folders and subfolders. Sometimes I just want to know where a link is in that heirarchy and Firefox, AFAIK, doesn't allow you to find that information. This extension makes it possible to do this. You simply type a key word into the search field which the extension adds to the bookmarks sidebar, and then right click on the result you want to find. VOILA! The location in your bookmarks list instantly opens. The only reason I didn't give it a five star rating is that it would be nice if there was instead a button you could click on and which would accomplish the same thing as right clicking on a result. That's because I probably will forget the right-click trick by the next time I use this extension. Regardless, it really helped me today, so thanks very much! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.9.1-signed.1-signed).
good job- FF needed this Rated 5 out of 5 stars
not an essential addon, but a no brainer great feature. Organizing bookmarks can be hard with hundreds of sites and folder trees. This helps me find a related bookmark so I can organize them easier and group them. apparently right clicking on the bookmark in search results shows the folder it's in. wasn't clear at first. Thank you. Now if only this could be incorporated in the default bookmark window such that selecting the bookmark when searched for also shows it's location. that would help, but this addon is the next best thing.
it appears she has done just that and come up with Go Parent Folder add on which reveals the parent folder (by right click and select) within the default bookmarks window. thank you twice. and another add on Show Parent Folder as a column in the search results.
