Meet the Seismic Shaker Developer

Why was Seismic Shaker created?

The idea for this add-on came during the hackfest that was Mozilla Summit 2010, when the call went out for the rapid prototyping for new jetpack add-ons. "Quakeyfox" was born several hours later and went on to win the Most Creative Add-on prize at the summit. The add-on was later renamed "Seismic Shaker", cleaned-up and published on addons.mozilla.org with the support of briks.si.

What's next for Seismic Shaker

The next version of this add-on will feature slicker quake notifications and a pretty map showing recent earthquakes around the world.
