If you are ebay buyer and use FireFox, you must have this addon! It's really best addon fo sniping. You dont have to keep you computer on. Sniper will do everything alone. It have the fast-speed server, and never miss. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (22.214.171.124).
Don't use...not reliable. Rated 1 out of 5 stars
worked fine for the first 2 then made no bid at all on an item i really wanted which sold for 1/2 of my snipe...should have placed a simple proxy bid but got greedy...don't trust this to work. I'm a regular ebay buyer and the bid never showed up at all from the snipe. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (126.96.36.199).
All your bids were placed
All your bids are placed. But you have to meet the requirement which seller put also: like having your PayPal account linked, registered in the same country where the seller ships etc.
You can login to your account and check the snipe status to see what was missing or check your e-mail for snipe notification.
There is always a support team available on website.

Some rough edges, it could use a good tutorial, and it can fail to place a bid if your computer is off, or you have set it to turn itself off when you close the browser and your browser is off, or you change your password without reinstalling to tell it your new one, or who knows what else. All the same, very useful if you avoid the pitfalls and don't rely on it 100% for a must-have item. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (188.8.131.52).
Thanks for suggestions
Thanks for suggestion regarding a tutorial, it must be done, you are right here.
Your bids will NOT fail when you turn off your PC or your browser since this add-on relies on the remote service.
If you changed your password, it will not bid (for obvious reasons of missing your new password).
Didn't bid! Rated 1 out of 5 stars
I added an item and set the my bid value $12 over the current bid and watched my item go to the person that bid lower than I did. That I can tell, this system never entered a bid for me at all even though I had it set for a high enough value and enough time (over 12 hours) and set it as scheduled.
I lost a professional quality soundcard for $9.00 - I think I'm going to go cry.
Please contact support
Sniper placed a bid, but eBay probably did not accept it for some reasons.
It might be that the seller can't ship to your country or your did not meet some requirements which seller put (specific feedback rating, paypal account or more).
You can always contact support and find out exactly what was wrong.
You can also put your e-mail address in your Profile and get your status for every snipe you made.
There is no reason "to go cry" for $12, but at least you can find out what was wrong and won't repeat it again in the future.
Please contact support, they are here to help, not to upset.

Tout simplement : FORMIDABLE !
Une utilisation simple et accessible à tous.
Concrètement, que fait cette add-on : elle vous donne la possibilité de programmer une enchère à quelques secondes de la clôture de cette enchère.
Works well. Rated 4 out of 5 stars
The free service is great, and the sniping happens as it should. The only reason I give it an 8 instead of 10 is because the web interface is a little clunky.
Things I would recommend to the developer are:
-Add the ability to move items into and out of groups.
- Add text next to the X that deletes selected items that says "delete selected items from snipe list" or something like that.
(creating/removing groups, deleting items to be sniped
It's been all implemented
Thank you for your suggestions, but these things are implemented already.
> Add the ability to move items into and out of groups.
This add-on is just an add-on. In order to get all features you have to login to the main website:
so you can manage your items which you've added using this add-on.
You can move in and move out of groups, set group limitations, set e-mail notifications and many other things.
There is no way to put it in the small window of add-on so those features are available when you login to https://www.myibay.com/
It's still free when you use a web-based version.
> Add text next to the X that deletes selected items that says "delete selected items from snipe list" or something like that.
There is no place to add such a big text, but we'll see what can be done. Probably some mouseover message or something.

What is the best thing you want to wish for a tool?
You expect it to work.
Well, this tool works great! I was looking at a wrong place for it, but someone pointed me here.
I like this integration into eBay which makes it easy and fun to use.
For fleurbygerby's comment.
You have to be at least one increment higher, not just a few pennies. Man, just try it on eBay manually - find £21.00 auction and try to bid £21.07, you will see the same thing ;-)
DONT BOTHER! Not yet rated
I used this successfully twice, and then hinged an all important deal on it working, I put a snipe on an item at £21.07, and lo and behold I looekd to see what the status was an hour later when I returned home, only to find it had sold to someone else for £21.00. I emailed them and they said quote: "Your lost because your bid was not high enough. It had to be at least 21.50 for this price range. 21.50 is coming from 21.00 (current bid) + 0.50 (bid increment)." end quote.
I smell something bad.... oh yeah must be myibay.
So use it if you dont mind losing to a lower bidder, but if its an important snipe, use someone reliable.
Please consult with eBay help system when not sure
This is a normal behavior of eBay bidding system with bid increments rule.
Please check this FAQ section for more information:
Or consult eBay help page if you still smell something bad:
and this one if you are still confused:
You can not win auction with 21.07 when the current bid is 21.00, you have to be 21.50 at least.

Comments on \"I hate that\" Rated 2 out of 5 stars
In the "FAQ" you'll find this.............
" 8. Q: Any limitations for this software tool? A: Basically, it will work as a fully functional tool for evalutation period of 30 days.
If you like it then you have to buy it in order to continue using it. The price is just US $12.95. One time fee only, no monthly membership! Plus, you support our development and helping us to make this tool better. You can pay by PayPal using your Credit Card or your PayPal balance.Payment link is available on our download page."
It appears that it is really a "free to download the DEMO" that you can use for 30 days -before- you have to pay for it. The software may be great, but to me, that's not the same as "free". I feel that the author should have said that right up front.
Added to original Review 1/27/08.
After a series of emails between myself and Sashka I realize that there are TWO different software packages available on his homepage. One is truly free (on the left side of his homepage) and another version that is the 30 day Demo & then pay for it on the right side of the home page.
I think the pay version has more features etc. And actually the price seems quite reasonable.
Wrong FAQ section
Ollie, please read (and quote) my FAQ completely, not just part of it. This is very important for understanding.
The complete part is mentioning my "Windows-software tool" only, not "the service" itself.
The service is FREE (Firefox extension is a part of the service so it's free as well).
Please check for more information by following this link:
I hate that Rated 2 out of 5 stars
This looks like a great extension, for ebay users, and ought to be rated an "eight" or "nine". I knocked six off 'cause there's nothing in the extension's description and I had to go through the service's site, with the proverbial "fine tooth comb" to find out it's a PAID service...this in spite of the first line, of their description, reading: "myibay is a Free managing tool for eBay auctions".
I have nothing against paid services and nothing against extensions supporting paid services. What I do have is something against service providers and extension authors who aren't upfront and/or are otherwise misleading...especially those who want me to trust them with my ebay account information.
myibay is free service
Jack, please check the website. myibay is a FREE service as stated on www.myibay.com in the following FAQ section:
Please feel free to contact the support for details if you are confused or not sure.

best add-on I ever have!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Amazing service, never imaging before how easy now to snipe on ebay for my preferred items with bid sniper add-on! Now I do not need to wait till auction gets last second to bid! Install, place my bid and forget(until you won item of course)! So nice to be able to go onto a web site to snipe instead of having another program downloaded & taking up space on my computer. And it is so easy to use! I won the auction I used this for, what else can be better than that! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (188.8.131.52).
useful add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars
When I want to sleep and hate to stay late/wake up early I use myibay.com as bin sniping service. This add-on allows me to save extra time by adding snipe link to ebay page. Only one click and I can add item to my sniping list quickly.
I think, this is great, and very useful add-on!
