Excelente Rated 5 out of 5 stars

So sorry it doesn't work anymore Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This was a great project, it's a shame it's no longer available

Autostart website from pendrive Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hi, I have just tried this application and it is great. One thing I want to know if I can run this application from a pen drive. My idea is to load the whole application into a pen drive and autostart it when the user connects it to the computer. Is that something that can be done? Thank you.

OK! That works for me. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is such a elegant app, although I'm speaking strictly as an end-user.

And with no support for Firefox 4.0 I have yet another reason to wonder why there's an FF 8 when 3.6 works so well.

Prism is no longer developed by Mozilla Labs, although this documentation will still be useful to those using WebRunner (see next paragraph). There are now two alternatives:

The Prism code was picked up by Matthew Gertner who started a company to continue its open source development under the name WebRunner. See his blog post at http://www.salsitasoft.com/blog/2011/04/18/packaging-webrunner-applications/

Mozilla Labs itself started a new project called Chromeless. See their blog post at http://mozillalabs.com/blog/2011/02/prism-is-now-chromeless/

I've come to rely on this for some work applications and will have to down grade if it isn't updated.

I tried WebRunner (former Prism, they have the same AppCreator GUI), please read my previous review March 13, 2011.

It has a strong memory leak: after 12h on the same site it can reach to 122MB, it takes 2 - 3 times more memory than Prism... but have some interesting features and better look.

I have a triple FF installation (with Prism 1.0b2), so when I install an Add-On it goes to all 3 FFs. The results:

1. FF3.5 (my Prism App Creator platform): WebRunner is incompatible to FF3.5, I did not try to cheat the Compatibility Check, so WebRunner is inactive in Extensions window... IS THAT RIGHT? When I clicked "Create WebRunner Application" in menu, the AppCreator GUI shows up!!!... but not worked. By the way the Prism stopped to work too;

2. FF3.6 (my Safe Surf platform): I installed WebRunner here but it did NOT work, probably due to some add-ons, maybe Prism 1.0b2..., that stopped to work here too;

3. FF4RC (my Testing platform): WebRunner WORKED fine. Prism is not compatible to FF4 (inactive).

That is the solution for the Prism addicts and FF4: FF4RC + WebRunner v4.0b12, if you don't mind to waste some memory.

For myself I uninstalled the WebRunner and I kept my old and stable platform: FF3.5 + Prism 1.0b2 (see my previous review).

Excellent add-on! Better alternative for chrome's same function with less process and less resource usage.
Need complete right-mouse-menu function, now even cannot save picture.
And when I create application for Google Calendar, the font size on event items(in week view) will be initially set to 8 or 9, not very neat display

1.0b4 ready? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great extension - would be awesome if integrated into Firefox directly.

Also, 1.0b4 in extension form would be terrific - I notice it's available in standalone form on mozillalabs - it now allows links to properly open in the default browser rather than a new instance of prism itself.

Great addon, please update for FF4 b3!! i cant make web apps...

pls fix sec certs. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Please fix the security certificate exceptions page so prism users can actually add exceptions, insted of having to try and jump through hoops with links to chrome://pippki/content/certManager.xul and manual file copies. (which doesn't work for all sites)

QuakeLive.com Trusted site Rated 5 out of 5 stars

can you please add http://quakelive.com to the trusted sites for prism we would greatly apperate it as a LOT of users use your program from the webgame...
