Very useful.

Enhancement Request: Please allow the option of the 'hand' simply being motionless, in one position, and scrolling the screen.

As stands at present, the 'hand' moves up or down, and then needs to be repositioned.

Thank you.

Nicholas

Essential for tablet PCs. For touch screens, literally grab the page with your finger and drag. Saves from having to grab the traditional thin scroll bar.

Awesome add-on! Very useful. I hate using the scroll wheel at times. This helps a ton.

My favourite Add-on! Couldn't live qithout it anymore.
But: You have to turn it off to grab and drag OpenStreetMap. Pity! Because on GoogleMaps it works without problems.

2.7.4 solved the problem of single click in a new page to activate drag. Thanks a lot for this most useful add-on. Without this Grab-n-Drag my mouse is not so useful.

Click to re-enable drag Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hi,
Double click enables text selection and then a single click enables drag but when between the two actions mouse moves into another page (tab) then single click does not enable drag. Is this normal or is there a way around this? Thanks.

The functionality as advertised is fantastic. I'd like to see the momentum scrolling implemented for use with a scroll-wheel (or scroll-zone or a trackpad). That way, instead of having to click, one could just flick.

This is excellent! Works exactly as advertised. I've actually been thinking about something like this for a while now...just never expected anyone to think to add this feature to a browser.

Grab'n'Drag saves me! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm handicapped person, after accident I've got not fully fit fingers and Grab'n'Drag really helps me to navigate on website by using mouse button instead of mouse wheel - I'm not able to use mouse wheel :(

So, I'm so deeply and trully thankful to author of this extension because he propably even don't know how much Grab'n'Drag could help - not only by making surffing on web easly and quickly but helping someones like me (not fully fit) to even navigate on web at all.

5 starts is definetely not enough !!!

Doesn't recognize when stuff gets appended to the page dynamically (eg by Ajax) so it doesn't work well with AutoPager, CustomizeGoogle and some websites. I really like Ajax autopaging, so I uninstalled this extension.

@Mafia Penguin: It does work on Windows.

Awesome! I just ordered a touchscreen for my EEE today and it'll be arriving in a couple of weeks. I can't wait for it now!

Also, it'd be nice if there were some way to make this show up under a search for "touch" or "touchscreen." I spent my first 20 minutes searching for that.
