So far, no good Rated 1 out of 5 stars
JUST opened an Evernote paid account. Their cute little elephant symbol for a web clipper seemed to point to a useful tool, why not add on?
Let me see the user reveiws. Oh, change my options to accept their cookie?
No problem. Except...BIG problem. There's no longer an "Options" under my "Tools" instead there's some slick crap. Oh, maybe useful. But I didn't say "change all that without even giving me the option to say no"
NOW, I have to uninstall everything, and start from there. As His Orangeness would say "Boo!"
I made it working Rated 2 out of 5 stars
With a help of following two comments I made it working. I was giving up on evernote, even downgrade my subscription. Fact that this plug-in was not working is one for the reason.
Anyway I did following and it started to work for me on windows. I wonder for how long (until cookies get bad?)
I have changed preferences as described here:
And then I use this suggestion to create cookies:
After this I installed plug-in and it is working.
I gave them two stars for not caring, terrible. And they still not have anything on Linux :-(

I really love it so much! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
The most benefit of using this tool is you have to install Evernote for Windows or for Mac and create an Evernote account and start syn it with this add-on. When you take screen shot with this Web Clipper it will automatically syn to the Windows or Mac app.

It works well in chrome but in firefox it just doesn't even work. It shows a window to sign in the first time but after that, every time I press the elephant it just doesn't show the clipping options and it doesn't do the clipping work as it's supposed to.

Give it a shot yourself. It works for me on Windows at least.
Only version from Sep 2016 will work Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Dear developers of this plugin, please fix the install file. Not fixing this for months will not motivate people to upgrade to a paid Evernote account.
Faulty Version Rated 1 out of 5 stars
This latest version does not work in Firefox. I uninstalled and reinstalled and the clipper still would not launch. I installed the previous version, and everything seems to be working very well.

Corrupt File - Will NOT Install in FireFox Rated 1 out of 5 stars
It is a wonderful add on, but to get the developer's attention I am giving a poor rating. The file on the web server is defective.

This doesn't work with Firefox
The problem is simple and still not solved Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Whatever browser you use, you have to log in to your Evernote account first.
While add-ons for Chrome and Safari are opening a web form for logging in, the firefox extension just opens an empty tab or an empty window, depending on the settings for Firefox (or extensions like Tab Mix Plus).
In order to get the Evernote Clipper for Firefox to work you first have to go to: https://www.evernote.com/Login.action?targetUrl=%2FHome.action and log in to your account.
This action will set a cookie for Evernote Web Clipper, making it work. After that, you should not delete the cookies.
The problem that seems to exist with Firefox Web Clipper 184.108.40.206 is the fact that it doesn't automatically connect with https://www.evernote.com/Login.action?targetUrl=%2FHome.action when clicked. One has to do that manually. Strangely, Evernote was not able to fix this for such a long time.

This is how I got the Evernote clipper to work! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I was experiencing exactly the same issue as everyone else with the authentication problem. I resolved this by adding an 'Exception' rule for Cookies within Firefox. Open up the FireFox Options screen, click on 'Privacy' in the left hand menu, click on the 'Exceptions' button that is on this page, add the address of the website - https://evernote.com - give it an 'allow' status, click 'Save Changes'. Once I had done this, closed and restarted the Firefox browser. Clicked on the Evernote icon in the top toolbar, entered my Evernote credentials, and it worked straight away. The red dot is no longer there and clipping works brilliantly!
Doesn't work anymore Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Icon has a red dot. After login with credentials of evernote this function is not usable anymore. Short popup screen which disappears immediately. Sad situation!
