Is this a dead add-on? Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I wonder why this type of add-on has not been updated in 6 years? Firefox is been updated almost every other week, yet we come across these useful add-ons in the database only to not be able to use it.I suggest that Mozilla cleans up the database a little bit, and if an add-on is not updated frequently to match up with Firefox, then it should be removed (it's up to them to decide the time limit)!

Conflicts with All-in-One Gestures. Pity.

Download DragToScroll 0.5.1 at https://bug41708.bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=425734

Fixes all compatibility issues. (Actually fixes them, doesn't just modify the version limit in the install.rdf)

This MUST-HAVE extension works great in Firefox3 as long as you override the compatibility checking (maxversion).

It boggles my mind how the Firefox development team, let alone any web browser designer (Opera, Google Chrome, and more) can release a browser, and release multiple new versions of the browser and not ever once said "It's important for users to be able to drag text and drop it into search boxes wherever they may be" (ie: off the top or bottom of the screen). I mean IE had this taken care of YEARS AGO.

And I find it equally amazing that there is so little fuss from users that it's not strandard and that the DragToScroll extension has so few downloads! Just 11,716 total downloads at the time of this review!

Back in July, I'd re-flagged the Bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41708 in the hopes that Firefox developers might finally get Drag n drop included in the next release... just this week, the flag was changed to '-'..... ie: "not interested"..

So sad.

Do yourself a favour everyone and install this extension.
