Simple, not Simplistic Rated 5 out of 5 stars

As in my previous review, I like this extension because its fast, simple and not overwhelming.

What do I mean by not overwhelming? Take a look at MyBookmarks, which shows you the contents of each of your bookmarks folders inside individual "boxes". It gives you no choice as to whether you want to see all of the contents of all of your folders or not. I for one don't want to see this every time I start a new tab. With Bookmark Tab, the default is to leave the folders closed until you click on them, but you also have the option to "Preserve state of opened folders.", which is wonderful.

In behavior, Bookmark Tab is much akin to Firefox's Bookmarks sidebar, but opened for you automatically in your new tab or window (you must set Bookmark Tab as your homepage for it to show up in new windows) and otherwise staying out of sight and out of the way.

Thanks to the developer's speedy response to my bug report, now the addressbar is always focused when using this extension, whether opening a new tab or a new window.

Lastly, here's a simple way to move the Reload Bookmarks item to the top of the page. Add the following lines immediately after the ".cssReload {" line in the Stylesheet and tweak to your preference:

(also remove the line in the .cssReload section that says "position: relative;")

Thank you to the developer again for a nice, pleasantly simple extension to Firefox.

Great! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Really like it. It's simple and straightforward and not overwhelming.

One thing: loading it in a new tab, keyboard focus is on the address bar. Loading it in a new window, focus is on the window contents (Bookmark Tab contents). Can it please always start with focus on the address bar?

thank you :)

i have sent you a message via the bugtracker.

greetings - coderect

edit: with the newest release the focus should be consistent now.
