Failed, After All Rated 1 out of 5 stars

At first, it worked, but now, total failure! It doesn't block anything, like every other site blocking add-on. Why is it so hard for an add-on to block sites?!

This user has a previous review of this add-on.

58 PUP Files Detected! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

It worked, but It secretly installed 58 PUP (Potentially Unwanted Programs) on my laptop that was detected by malwarebytes.

Works, BUT... Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Seems to work because a pop-up box tells me that some elements are being blocked on the page or site I'm on; But then the pop-up box stays up until I click it off, sometimes up to five times before it's gone.

does exactly what it supposes to do why ppl nag about it is beyond me

Useless Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Utterly Useless Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Blocks My Router Configuration Login Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Found out that this was blocking me from logging into my router configuration. Also, it prevented Fire Fox Version 51 from logging into the Add Ons. Deleted it and still could not log in until Fire Fox was reset.

Странное дополнение Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Not optimized Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I imported a list of about 21,000 ad sites and the block site plug-in hung for almost a minute each time a redirect was triggered. Obviously the url list is kept in a stack rather than in a binary tree. I keep on using it for a short url blacklist but it is useless for huge lists.

Block Site Add On Rated 1 out of 5 stars

this is utterly useless; it couldn't block the site www//

Good, could do with a couple features Rated 4 out of 5 stars

First off, thanks for creating this addon. For me, it works (mostly) as intended and as wanted - why it doesn't work for others could be various reasons not necessarily just the addon itself, I imagine.
Basically, right-click anywhere on a blank area of a site and choose to add to BlockSite - done. To better this, if it could be possible to allow a more customised version of that from this point would be great (i.e. Add "", or add "*")
One other thing, just allowing some sort of log file to be turned on, where any site which IS blocked is logged for later reviewing - I was on a legitimate site recently, but seeing BS was blocking sites which I never got to see what those were so unsure whether it was ones I'd chosen or if it was acting up, maybe not even blocking anything at all but displaying like it had? Not happened 'til now so not at all sure, but would be nice to be able to check that.
Cheers, would be 5 stars from me if these 2 things could be added.

Underrated Add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I am annoying because this great add-on have a unfair 3 stars for me works perfectly, no any problem. Block or Allow specific web pages or a domains, Wonderful.

Regard, keep the good work

Better than before Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This one was under a different name before this 43.0 update and worked flawlessly, then the update ... Now with a different name, the added features make this the best site blocker hands down. It's easy to add sites, edit the sites added address, or wild card (*) the domain from view and has well written instructions to follow. It's simple and robust - You don't have to read hundreds of pages of instructions to "get it". Oh one last thing: once you add a page to the list wanting to block the whole site, open the interface and edit the entry down to just www.*name*.com/* and the page/site is blocked. But on the bottom of the options popout is a link to the instructions. And you must have a password to keep nasty sites from wiping out the list. Brilliant

Тормозит!! Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Блокирует всё, что мне надо, но жутко тормозит

Doesn't do anything Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I'd give 0 stars if I could. It doesn't block a single thing. And, apparently I'm too stupid to do exactly as instructions say to add sites to blacklist. Actually, I'm not--it just doesn't do anything. Sites I've blacklisted show up over and over, with the exact same URL.

TL;DR: Don't waste your time.

Terrible Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I'd give it a big fat impotent zero if I could.
It even blocked it's own site that's how {uckn} inept it is. It automatically blocked a plethora of sites such as this page, google home page & frankly that was enough for me.

Stay clear it's useless!

@Destroyer5 ~ Should we all give it 5 sheepish stars regardless of how it works - is that what you did? Your response is ridicules. Reviews are placed by the people for the people {consumers} placing inaccurate reviews helps no one. 'Right-Click' yourself good lad!

This thing sucks Rated 1 out of 5 stars

sure you can wild card or block a site but only if you add one at a time, forget trying to import a list, because even import is one URL at a time.. don't waste your time with this bogus piece of shit! I wouldn't even give it one star, but I'm forced to!
