Awesome extension Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I think this is one of the best firefox extensions ever made. One thing you should add in the next version is transparent lines drawn with the mouse; they stand out a little too much now and it makes them look really pixelated.

If you must use ff... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Though Opera is clearly superior, it is occasionally necessary to resort to the ungainly Firefox. This is highly annoying unless I bloat the browser a little more with add-ons that make it feel less like I'm reverting to the dark ages.

AIO Gestures is one such necessary add-on. It works about the same as the gestures in Opera, and even scores a point for superior functionality with the scroll-wheel back-forward feature. The trails are as annoying as they are unnecessary, but luckily they can be turned off.

how do you get this to work? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

How do you get this add-on to work? I have installed and enabled it repeatedly. Clicked on the options... I got rid of the gestures 1.5.2.\r\nMouse gestures works in my Opera and IE but not in Firefox. Does anyone know why this thing does not work? I have WinXP and FF 2.0.11. Thanks.

Great Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I love Opera, in particular the gestures, but too many sites just don't work in it so I had given them up to come back to firefox. However this plugin is IMHO better than Opera gestures.

It does occasionally cause Firefox to crash, but not enough to be a big deal.

WARNING: It makes browsing in IE or Firefox without this pluging seem like you've gone back to the dark ages! :P

Good! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Easier to use, more features and responsiveness than the other mouse gesture plugins out there.

annoyingly slow Rated 3 out of 5 stars

A good and usefull extension, however once webcontent reaches some size (like the average size of any normal online newspaper) its too slow and fails to recognize the most basic gestures, like close (D+R)

Compare it to opera's builtin gestures. its alot quicker and alot more responsive.

Should be in FF3 by default... but still has bugs Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I like this extension so much. It made me switch from Opera to "Firebird" 0.6. But it still has many bugs on link-drag-to-open-in-tab feature. For example, the behavior when dragging a Javascript: link. Or when dragging down on a link so the mouse ends in the status bar, when releasing the mouse button the action does not trigger.
Anyway it still is great, and I'd like to see it coming with FF 3 by default. A MUST HAVE. Thanks Marc!!!

What works, what would work even more... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Some much needed features

This utility is excellent and once you use it you miss it for any other browser of application where it's not there. But a few things could still make it much more convenient.

The biggest problem with the gesture extension is how it interacts with other programs. For example, some ajax based programs interfere with it and some others. That's not necessarily a problem so long as there is an easy way to temporarily pause the extension. (without losing all short-cut settings). Grab and Grag has a few features to allow for this:

1. A toggle-on/toggle-of button that could be placed on the tool bar or in a context menu

2. A specific short-cut, gesture, or click-sequence to change functions (such as perform mouse's original function). Grab and Drag allows you to merely double-click on text to deactivate the gesture and single click on background to reactivate it.

I'm not trying to bash All-In-One or promote Grab and Drag; there's no doubt this is the best gesture extension out there...I just want it to be that much more useful.

Some wishes Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Thank you for your good add-ons

However I have some wishes :
- Why need we to right click + scroll twice to switch of one tab ? It would be easier to have to do this once like in opera.
- Mouse gesture doesn't work when there is a loading page.
- "open new tab" gesture doesn't open a new blank tab if we do the gesture on a link.

Great, but... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Fantastic add on. I liked the gestures when I tried out Opera but am happier using Firefox. Mouse gestures make everything so much easier.

I don't know how silly of a question this is, but will is be possible to have the gestures work in IE tabs opened in Firefox? So far no, but it would be cool if it could happen in futures versions.

Great but bugs need fixing Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This is a great add-on, but I have had to disable it because it sometimes acts up, preventing tabs from closing, failing to recognise a gesture as complete and reverting to a previous url when clicking a link immediately after having "rocked" back or forwards. I look forward to using it again when these bugs have been fixed.

Great but still has bugs Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This is the best gesture extension but there is still one large bug. It breaks Firefox's built in spell checker on Linux. I'm using Ubuntu 6.10 and Firefox 2.0.0.3. The right click menu wont recommend words when this extension is active.
