Update problems Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Does it really need to refresh all tabs after update? After new update I encounter new problems with the context menu. It shows a communicate like the extension can't work properly on this domain. Later it starting to work allowing to enable/disable the extension on this domain. But if go to other tab (with different domain) it shows only do enable/disable for the domain of the previous tab, not current one. It wasn't this way after first update to web extension cuz I needed to disable on all domains I frequently use. And could you add the whitelist to the extension settings already please? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.7.1). This user has 3 previous reviews of this add-on.
Good, but has a lot of bugs Rated 2 out of 5 stars
It has a lot potential, but needs improvements to work properly.
It doesn't detect every video and it detects files without size that aren't videos.
Downloading doesn't work not mentioning it just automatically save file to default location.
Copying opens a small window with the link that needs to be copied manually. Why it can't just copy link to clipboard without opening any windows?
It would be nice if it could instead of downloading with browser send the link directly to download manager.
Bugs even whitelisted sites Rated 2 out of 5 stars
It happens that even on whitelisted sites it may prevents normal left click actions which shouldn't block. I need to turn off extension everytime to properly use some options.
Time for update.
Great, but needs polishing Rated 4 out of 5 stars
It works great and I can't imagine browsing without it. Unfortunately has some bugs.
The only shortcut for showing translation is "Ctrl+Alt", but in settings is stated that "Alt", "Insert" or "T" are the ones. You should correct it.
It doesn't work on some pages and edit fields. Is that because of limitations or you excluded something? There shouldn't be any excludes to work properly everywhere.
While I could agree to exclude the google translate page, you should use the 'translate.google.' rule instead of 'translate.google.com', cuz everyone can be in a different region. For example I use 'translate.google.pl' and there it works while in 'translate.google.com' doesn't. I suggested that in previous version, but there I could at least change it manually.
Breaks choosing search suggestions Rated 3 out of 5 stars
It breaks choosing suggestions in search box popups with left click in many sites. This user has other reviews of this add-on.
Doesn't fail Rated 5 out of 5 stars
It doesn't fail at changing quality and auto pausing like some other add-ons.
Unfortunately Context menu item to open video without playlist is appearing on some other sites instead only on Youtube.
It would be also great if you could add an option to prevent videos load in theater mode when I close previous tab with it. I mean force to open always in default mode (small player on left). The option that already is there centers it on the page, which I don't want to.
Good, but needs better whitelisting Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Could you allow to view/edit the whitelist? It would be also nice if additionally the sites that are already permitted for cookies could be automatically excluded. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.6.6). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
Love it Rated 5 out of 5 stars
It's great add-on to control cookies. But could you change icon color from red to gray when on certain sites the add-on is disabled like Firefox's about sites? The same while the page is loaded and icon is red, regardless the setting for that domain.
Can't exit after emptying the cache Rated 4 out of 5 stars
It's great and do what is suppose to do, but after that I'm unable to close the browser. It looses the focus, but not exiting. I have to wait for some time when that would be possible. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.7.1-signed.1-signed).
Could it also work on images search? Rated 4 out of 5 stars
It works great, but it would be nice if it worked also for the image's thumbnails on Google image search. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.3).
Great, but still needs some work Rated 4 out of 5 stars
It's great add-on to enable right click when it's disabled. Unfortunately it makes some problems on YouTube player. Middle click on instagram.com still opens the link in the same tab instead in new one.
Could you also do something with copy/paste issue on web,skype.com? It could be also improved to allow to draw the image context menu when it's disabled and shows only the general context menu like in instagram.com.
It would be very nice also if it had some options like displaying the list of whitelisted sites or hide the icon from location bar.
Update needed Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Instead of deleting my previous comment, you should just answer what is the progress with the 126.96.36.199 version. I understand that there might be problems with new release, but 188.8.131.52 version is already being blocked, so any kind of explanation is much better than pretending that nothing happened^^.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (184.108.40.206).
It's great Rated 4 out of 5 stars
It's great, but it would be nice if you make it possible to save images by dragging them too. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).
It's great Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This add-on is great and provides a lot of options. Especially an option to open pages in new tabs is very comfortable. Could you add the same option for the startup page toolbar button that it would open it in a new tab instead of current one?
Answer: Sorry, but I'm unable to register on that forum, so this have to do^^.
It's what I needed Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This add-on is great and is exactly what I needed. Especially it's helpful on pages with a lot of embed players, cuz my browser lagged a lot there.
But there are two problems. In first could you make that clicking on thumbnails would open videos in new tab, not current one? In second could you replace that play image with smaller one and without that circle or something? It doesn't look very nice.
Edit: Two more problems. Font could be smaller, cuz it doesn't fit to thumbnails and titles are cut. And it seems to not work on YouTube site where on channel pages are embedded videos.
Still not good Rated 2 out of 5 stars
New light theme is better than the previous one, but why dark theme is forcing itself whole the time?
You should make that popup smaller. Make font and margins smaller. Do something in case that the file name\title doesn't fit in the popup window, that I could see it whole. And add tool-tips to that icons for downloading and copying the link.
Replace all red elements with blue ones, maybe an additional option to choose this color besides the dark\light theme. And why it can't detect 1080p and 480 videos? There's still room in the settings lol. Could it also support more download managers?
After clicking on toolbar button it should be pressed and keep it that way while the popup is on. That arrow on the popup should point at the middle of the button not its edge.
Good luck with improving your add-on.
Great but can be better Rated 4 out of 5 stars
It's great add-on but has some problems. Sending to download manager should be faster. Movies with quality 1080 aren't displayed in the context menu besides the Dash menu with separate video and audio. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (220.127.116.11). Ugly new version Rated 2 out of 5 stars
New version's toolbar button is ugly. Popup menu is very big, almost for half (or one third) of screen. And I hate red^^.
It would be nice if I could access settings from toolbar button. And it should detect movies with higher quality that 720^^.
Settings needed Rated 2 out of 5 stars
After having problems with normal page elements affected by add-on I'm sure that this extension needs a control panel.
Last time you told me that I need to click on context menu item to exclude that domain from being affected. That works only temporary. So there should be a control panel where I can add a white list of domains that will be exclude and it will work always.
Another thing is to hide a context menu item. I use a stylish code to do that, cuz I don't want to have useless elements in menu. And everytime I need to exclude certain page from extension I have to disable the style^^.
It's really uncomfortable, so add a control panel with settings like practically every extension has^^.
