After Google Reader's closing was announced I installed Feedly to explore alternatives. I'm kinda glad Google Reader's closing now since it turned me on to Feedly. Gorgeous design. I'm a fan of the clean, minimalistic look and Feedly hits it dead on. Syncs perfectly with Google Reader plus the promise of a smooth transition at closure. Also syncs with the Android app which is similarly good looking. The "Today" section and "Featured" stories in folders point to the most popular articles that day and I can get right to the good stuff without having to sort through the cruft all the time. The only complaint I have about it is that clicking anywhere on the article body collapses the article while in list view. I'd prefer to use that space to gain window focus and collapse only when clicking the headline area. Other than that, 5 stars, man. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (10.2).
Pretty spiff addon! Condenses the menu very nicely. The presentation of the menu to change elements shown seems like it needs reorganization. Adding categories for "On Images" or "By Extensions", and making it more of a grid view than a huge list might help. Also, the spell check suggestions don't seem to show up even though that option seems to be checked off in the settings. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1).
