Caused High CPU usage on Firefox Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This is the best Firefox addon to block image download, but most of the time, in my Firefox 18, this addon caused high CPU usage that slowed down the Firefox to almost standstill requiring kill and restart. This has happened also with older version of Firefox. The "Load cached image only" and the "load images from this site only" definitely cause high CPU usage. Only the "Load all images" option does'nt cause high CPU usage. Haven't tested with the "Don't Load images" option.
Anyone experiencing unresponsive Firefox with this addon installed (which can be seen with TaskManager as 49-60% CPU usage) , the work around is to change the general setting to "Load all images". But it renders this addon useless because the reason we install it is to block images loading on slow connection.
