... but please fix for v.34!This user has a previous review of this add-on.
It is not necessary to be proficient in the thing that one critiques. I can be critical of a performance by a musician or of a book by an author without being required to perform better or write better than them. That is the nature of critical review.
I maintain that the watermark is unnecessary because it spoils the effect of the image and the theme, and makes the creator look self-obsessed. I've looked at many themes, and this is the only one I've seen watermarked, hence my comment. It was not nasty or intended to discourage, but made the point that the beautiful image would be enhanced without the obstruction and distraction of the watermark. It was less a "complaint" than a simple observation.
I thank the creator for inviting me to use other themes; I shall do just that. Cheers.
Update in response:
Yes it is unfortunate, I agree. I withdraw the word; perhaps it was ill-chosen. I'll replace it with: it makes the theme look like it's all about the creator, when it's not; it's meant to be all about Firefox. Does that make more sense? A themed background is no place for an advertisement, and that's what a watermark looks like. That's all I'm trying to say. I apologise for the offense.
How about removing the watermark? It spoils your beautiful image and is totally unecessary.
5 stars when it is removed.
Thanks to the author for continuing the work. This is one of 2 add-ons I can't live without (the other being TabMix Plus).
I've been using Firefox since the first release, and this is far and away one of the best add-ons ever built.
This is perfect for my purposes, however it blocks Firefox browser updates, along with plugin updates. I must disable the addon, perform updates manually, then enable the addon. This is not optimal. Five star rating will come when this issue is addressed. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.09.1-signed).
This was the first addon I tried, way back when it was first released with Firefox v.1.
Tabmix Plus is invaluable in my work, and I cannot perform daily tasks without it. I work with literally 1,000s of medical serials (in a hospital library), and must manage those from multiple lists of titles from multiple suppliers.
The options and settings that I choose enable me to manage large numbers of tabs exceptionally well, which in turn allows me to provide timely access to information required by our medical staff to help sick children. My job would take longer and be much more difficult without this addon.
I am grateful to the developers for sticking with Tabmix Plus and keeping it current as Firefox itself continues to evolve.
I can never switch browsers simply because of this addon (not that I want to!).
