BEWARE: AddonFox automatically selects certain unwanted addons every time it is used Rated 1 out of 5 stars
I like this app because it provides a nice list of popular extensions.
HOWEVER, I hate that when you open the extension toinstall or remove an extension, AddonFox will re-select certain extensions. For example, every time (not just the first time) you run AddonFox, it will pre-select FoxLingo (one of the WORST Firefox memory hogs - so much so that I recommend uninstalling it if you have it); Bounce; TweakDMB; LinkExtend; and Facebook Like. If you don't de-select these addons, AddonFox will reinstall them. You have to de-select each of these EVERY time you open AddonFox. I got so sick of doing this, that I uninstalled the addon (while keeping the addons that I WILLINGLY selected from AddonFox).
Note to AddonFox. I understand that you likely have some (financial) incentive to preselect certain addons, like FoxLingo, during the FIRST use of AddonFox. However, once a user deselects it, please stop reselecting it on each use of AddonFox in the hopes that the user unwittingly does not deselect it. It's very disingenuous.
