For those like me who do not use the add-on bar, just make sure the add-on bar is on temporarily. Then, right click on the location bar and hit customize. Then go down to the add-on bar and left click drag on the Foxbleed icon and drag it to the location bar. Works like a charm.
Pretty niftyThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.9).
Works excellent in Firefox and can be placed up above even tho' it don't tell you that. Does not stop internet traffic like Google Earth or anything on your computer that feels a need to phone home, updates, etc. that are not connected with Firefox. So,,, if you want to disconnect Firefox-good, if you want to stop all traffic, not so good. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5).
First it let me know where to save money, then it let me know I already had the best price on a few items, then lying to me and telling me where I could buy the product for a little more than one third of the price. Turns out its not even close to the same product model. Example: Search for Veho VCC-005-MUVI-HD10 Muvi HD 1080p on Amazon and it tells you you can buy this $139.95 product for $59 "buy it now" price on Ebay. Unfortunately the product they cite is the "Veho muvi Pro DV Camcorder" which you can buy on Amazon for $54.12 in the first place.
UPDATE: They apparently have fixed the anomaly and were very polite in their response, and all this on a Sunday. I'll give it another try. They shouldn't take the blame when Amazon puts up a wrong UPC.
This review is for the current 3.0.4 Found no notification of mail for days. Inspection found both of my mail accounts had disappeared. I did not delete them, they were just gone. I have tolerated the past complaints along with the phony X icon instead of an envelope, but its becoming too problematic and time consuming. Theres much better notifiers out there that work and with an acceptable icon. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.4). This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
This thing works nice. A few have commented about the invisible cursor. It is easily fixed by the addon Night Launch Companion. I also have Theme, Font, & Size changer installed. Together they help it do its job. If your browser tabs are not on bottom where you want them just go to about:config and scroll to "browser.tabs.on Top" and change it to false. Some tweaking but compared to Noia 4 its minimal and much less time consuming. All in all NASA Night Launch is very good and likely the best out there. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6.20121209).
Pay special attention to the top rated reviews and decide if they were written by the same folks and if so, what was their motive? It appears more than a little obvious. Read carefully and you decide. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.0).
Just takes me to a blank Google search page. Tried many different pages. Even Tineye found some, but this just sends me to a search page.
Update 3.0.1 changed the notification icon. It used to be an
envelope and it was fine. Now it is an X which in no way identifies itself and has nothing to do with mail as an icon. Takes away from an otherwise good addon.
Has always worked flawlessly except for one thing. After I capture a page and want to capture another, I must first click on Scrapbook, then double click on bookmarks, then Scrapbook again. I haven't heard of others with this glitch, so I reckon its my machine. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.5).
Limited results. Would be great if it could compete. I just looked up a photo of a bass boat on craigslist and Tineye claimed it was the only photo when in reality the crooks listing it have listed the photo all over the internet. I just looked at a Tineye review elsewhere on the net from 2008 with similar limited results. If its going to improve it needs it more quickly than that. I will give them at least an average rating hoping for improvement on what could be an opportunity.
Could use an option to turn off log in failures that pop up on screen. Lets me know it tried to log in 3 times and failed. Otherwise, not bad at all. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.1).
It used to work good. I downloaded the latest version 2.9.3 for Firefox 10 and everytime I start Firefox I get the mail notification and it points to the forums page with one of those "exclamation Tip! Click here to scan for System Errors and Optimize PC performance" notices. This appear as one of those advertising scams that we are all to accustomed to now days. Too bad they had to resort to these tactics. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.9.3).
Firefox 10.0.2 Found one major problem. I am keeping notes on realty pages to point out the pros and cons of each individual property. I found the note replicates itself to all of the pages of that particular realty giving me one note for all properties. These pages are all of the same domain but as with any other site there are sub domains involved and they are all tagged the same with Internote. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.1).
Downloaded and it nagged me to upgrade. I refused and it insisted on upgrade prior to usage. This is not what Firefox was about. Commercial wolves are sneaking in and trying to fleece the flock and as long as they can get away with it, they will do it all the more. Freeware is freeware, adware is adware. What part of deception do they not understand? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.9).
It takes my favorite theme and makes it even better. Good work. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.1).
Very handy. It is used a lot. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.40).
I give credit where credit is due. This thing works on my computer without a hitch and saves me from over running the gigs at the end of the month. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (184.108.40.206).
Actually my main use for it is to find out who is hosting a site. Being useful for finding slow sites, sites that are down a lot, and the such. Can be a consideration when looking or an IP for future hosting. Works great for me.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.1.10).
Says it won't work on my platform (9.0.1) but it does and very well. I use it mainly for web pages that won't render for whatever reason in FF.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (220.127.116.11).
