Stop YouTube Autoplay

The creator says v1.0.3 NO LONGER WORKs, so read before YOU review! Rated 3 out of 5 stars

If People would only READ what the CREATOR of THiS ADD-ON - "Nicola Kovacs", says just above this reviewers area, then User's would see that this add-on no longer works, because YouTube has stopped using Flash and changed to HTML5.

Why do YOU want to waste your own time writing an essentially "useless review"?

Better to WAiT until Nicola Kovacs can create a version of the add-on (if that's possible) that DOES WORK with HTML5.

Ratings: a big fat Zero (0) stars to the time wasting reviewers and 3 out of 5 stars (neither good, nor bad) to the add-ons creator.

ColorfulTabs

needs Context Menu "SAME as LEFT Tab" or "SAME as RiGHT Tab" Colour Matching Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It could use a SiMPLE Colour Matching process to allow the user to match the colour of the tab on the left or right side in LESS than 1 SECOND.

For eg: on ColorfulTab "Context Menu" add "Same as LEFT tab" & "Same as RiGHT Tab" choices.

Because sometimes it is not possible to ude a Duplicate Tab function to keep the same colour tab, Adding these "SAME as ..." choices would allow the user to visually keep tabs of the same grouping the same colour, but, without the need to create actual groups.

Apart from that it seems to be a really great tool for every Firefox User.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (17.6).

Ant Video Downloader and Player

Well it doesn't work on this "... non-popular video site..." Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Well sadly it doesn't appear to SEE the video's from evoTV the download button just says NOT FOUND

I do not think much of the Quote: "Our network-based technology will work even with non-popular or unknown video sites." as the program clearly doesn't see these 5 videos I'm looking at. [http://thebottomline.cpaaustralia.com.au/#preview and I also tried to capture episodes #episode1 thru #episode4] which was Neil Armstrong's last ever interview (according to the website it was a real and little known coup).

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.4.7.1).

Mozilla Archive Format, with MHT and Faithful Save

Truly ESSENTiAL Add-On BUT has Titling Problems Rated 5 out of 5 stars

MHT & Faitfhul Save does have one problem regarding character substitution in the save-as file title, but that failing aside, it's a truly MUST HAVE for NE1 who saves webpages - which is most of us, and i.m.h.o.'it' should be built in to the basic Firefox program.

MHT&FS v2.0.5 and earlier versions DON'T appear to follow Intrnt.Explr convention regarding CHANGing DOTS - and perhaps some other special characters, in a file title TO an UNDERSCORE "_".

For example: if a web-pages title is "Blah blah version 3.0.1 blah.mht", then I.E. will save as "Blah blah version 3_0_1 blah.mht" MHT&FS may save as "Blah blah version 3_0.1 blah.mhtml" or, it MAY not change the dot characters at all.

4_5 out of 5 Stars from me. Currently using Vista Sp2 & Firefox 3.6.28

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.5).

Unhide Menubar

Where Can I upload the unofficial v0.0.15 Rated 1 out of 5 stars

If someone can suggest where i can permanently upload my UnSupported & UnOfficial version 0.0.15 which I previously stated SHOULD support Firefox up to v3.9.x - in case they ever go past v3.6.15 (which is the Official Unhide Menubar v0.0.14 with a modified install dot rdf file and displays in the Add-Ons/Extensions window as ''Unhide Menubar 0.0.15'') I'd be grateful as there seems to be enough people out in the world who'd like to access it. I've set up a Gmail account just for this purpose:
iHopeTh1sWrks at gmail dot com
(I have written it with spaces to avoid possible spamming and Caps are not required & I trust that most people reading this will be able to work out the actual email address)

Custom Geometry

v2.5.0 is a dud without Status Bar access Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Dear Kertis, Regards v2.5.0 release alterations to suit Firefox 4 [and thus forgetting that many many C.G. users are still using Firefox v3.x and will autoupdate to v2.5.0 without discovering you've killed off the limited Status Bar access v2.4.0 enjoyed.

PLEASE RESTORE (the existing limited) STATUS BAR ACCESS for Firefox v3.x users because it is now almost unusable.

Why? Because Firefox 4 will be a dud with many thousands of users (i.m.h.o.) if it doesn't have a Status Bar & just because lemmings jump off cliffs, doesn't mean that CustomGeometry has to be one of the first to jump (in fact it's better to be towards the rear as you're more likely to land safely on top of others!!!).

In the meantime I'll go back too v2.4.0. and thanks for the unintended heads-up about Firefox v4.x not having a Status Bar.

While I'm writing to you; the one feature I'd like to see added is full user access to CustomGeometry from the Status Bar - rather than having to go too Tools>Extension Options>CustomGeometry in order to add/change/delete a window

My Rating v2.4.0 ''4 out of 5'' a perfect 5 would be given if the user had full access from Firefox Status Bar; but i.m.h.o. for Firefox 3.6.x users v2.5.0 is a ''1 out of 5'' because it is now almost unusable.

CopyAllURLs

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I second or concur with what iHopeTh1sW0rks says about: "... the ACTUAL Time&Date the tab was opened ..." as it would help me to make an ACCURATE manual backup of the links and sites I went too and in what particular date time and order i went there (rather than all tabs listed the same time and date).

But Thank You all the same J Plasser

CopyAllURLs

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

When all else fails, refer to the manual list of sites you went too, you made using CopyAllURLs. (5*)

I would find it more useful - but don't know if this is possible, if it could record the actual Time&Date the Tab was opened or loaded with the URL, (rather than the time&date all the Tabs were manually copied using CopyAllURLs).

That way you would virtually have a log of your opened tabs.

An automated or manual LOG feature could also be useful.

Unhide Menubar

Compatibility problems, so after tinkering about ... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I have found this Add-On to be very useful at times.

I have made an UnOfficial version 0.0.15 which "should" be compatible with Firefox from version 2.0 up to version 3.9.x

I'm not a programmer but I did some reading first and I also used a proper Text Editor (ConTEXT v0.986) to alter the install.rdf file, as Windows' Notepad and Wordpad programs appear to add extra characters to the files contents.

It appears to work with my Firefox v3.5.7 but can someone try it with v3.6.x?

Anybody wanting to try it out can go and download it from the following HotFile.com download page: http://hotfile.com/dl/30046268/76ceabb/UnOfficial_unhide_menubar-0.0.15-fx.xpi.html

Another Add-On I use - whose Author doesn't appear to be around any longer or not supporting the Add-On, saw a reviewer create there own working compatible version, so I thought I'd try and do the same for Unhide Menubar as the last update 0.0.14 was back in 2008.
