In a little more detail...

I maintain a couple of extensions to Thunderbird. Do not hesitate to contact me by email for ideas, bug reports, features, suggestions, patches, etc.

In real life, I'm a computer science student in Paris. I develop add-ons as a leisure, on my spare time. I also wrote a book on XUL in a previous life but due to studies I haven't been able to develop add-ons until recently, which is why I just started to get involved again with Mozilla.

Oh and by the way, I'm French :).

Add-ons I've created

Manually sort folders Requires Restart

This extension allows you to manually sort (order) your folders in the folder pane of Thunderbird or automatically sort them, but in a better way. This extension also allows you to re-order accounts in the folder pane.

Thunderbird Conversations

This addon provides a conversation view for Thunderbird, grouping messages together and allowing you to reply "inline" thus providing a more efficient workflow.

The latest version is compatible with Thunderbird 38+ only (see below for details).

LaTeX It! Requires Restart

This addons allows you to write LaTeX expressions in your emails such as $x^2$ or $$\sum_{x=0}\infty$$ and have them all replaced by a PNG image with the corresponding formula inside.

RSS Dashboard Requires Restart

This addons gives you a dashboard-style view of your RSS feeds, like iGoogle or Netvibes (widget view). This is an experiment, so it is still very rough. Right now, consider this as a proof-of-concept rather than a real addon.

GPGFox provide a very lightweight layer for performing encryption/decryption using GPG in your browser. So far, the only thing that really works is decryption. This is a preview release, and you should not consider this software to be ready.

I'm so glad that Firefox has the extension mechanism to compensate for arbitrary random changes in the codebase. This extension is absolutely essential and prevented me from smashing my keyboard several times. Many thanks to the author!

An excellent addon by Ehsan, as usual. And it's restartless!

Jökulsárlón Download Manager

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent, this UI is much more usable than the one found in the standard Download manager. Still a bit rough in the details, but a great addon still :).

Excellent extension! Probably the best way to speed up Firefox startup times. Lifechanging.

One of the greatest addons for Thunderbird Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a masterpiece, works flawlessly, and allows me to sync my address book across all of my Thunderbird setups.

This addon works flawlessly. The setup assistant automatically finds the key associated with my identities, the UI tells me about encrypted and decrypted messages automatically, and I don't have to manage all things by myself. This is great, congrats to the Enigmail Team!
