Hello, Firefox users. I'm here to provide you some fun, and pleasant, content for your favorite browser. I'm a student all the way out in Kansas, USA, and this is just one of my many hobbies. If you have any questions or suggestions, either post a review or simply e-mail me at my support e-mail provided on an add-on page. Thanks!
A mix of Vista and XP strata themes for Firefox 3 in Red.
This add-on is not compatible with your version of Firefox because of the following:
I didn't really know what to expect when going into this theme, but it's actually very pleasant. It comes off easy on the eyes, and sort of pops out on the screen. As though the browser has some real dimension. The buttons are a little simplistic looking and could be made glossed in a more round fashion perhaps, but otherwise it's great. I forgive small conditions like that as it's still only at version 0.2.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2).
Looks and acts like like Google Chrome. The author's done a great job in emulating this. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.2).
This theme looks very soft. The images are all clean, and well made, and the colors are not so stunning that it's bothersome. One thing that could be done however, is 'pushed images' for the back and forward button. Hovering over them changes the image to highlighted, but clicking them does nothing more. Most themes would have a pushed in effect, and even the other buttons on this theme seem to.
The creator of this theme obviously took his time getting this right. It looks incredible. I had two run-ins, however, when installing this theme. First, the tabs and toolbar were invisible. Just a grey block. Turns out that you must have 'Always show the tab bar' in Firefox's Options/Tabs. If not, you'll have to boot into Firefox Safe Mode, and enable the option. Also, I previously had glasser (another add-on) running, which manipulated the font on the title of the tab. After disabling it, the theme worked perfectly. Great work. Very impressive. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.7).
Works exactly as you'd expect. It even tabs out results with a parent site as google would normally do.
This add-on obviously has a high maintenance cost to which I also support leaving the ads enabled. It's great of them to allow you to disable the feature however, as well.
This is just a script to make Google Always use Strict Safe Search. Still very confusing without any information on this page..This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).
It works exactly as advertised, however it seems odd that the user has to manually add the item to their toolbar. Someone downloading it from the integrated Add-On search in Firefox 3 might not know to do so. Version 1.7 adds Firefox 3.5 support, though.. So, that's awesome.
This add-on does exactly what it says and is very helpful for those oddball situations where you want to refresh the page every so many seconds.
With version 3.5.0, there a drop down from the refresh button, and options for all tabs, no tabs, and whatever time interval you want. Very nice.
This add-on makes any internet forum so much more enjoyable. Linked images become viewable within the window you're already viewing. Just make sure not to set the auto option or else someone may post an image you might find less than appealing and you'll have to view it. Can be frightening. I, personally, just add a little button to the right of my search bar to click when I want to view all linked images. :DThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.1).
I install this add-on on all my machines. I simply disable tabs on flash, then disable the toolbar icon. It's like a having a brand new internet without all the nuisances. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.2).
Ever since Gmail Notifier got real dead, I've been using Gmail Manager and it's more than enough. The options in this add-on far surpass Notifier. Even if not all of them are applicable to me, it's great knowing they're there. I keep telling myself I'm going to set up my multiple gmail accounts to it, but somehow continue to elude. I recommend this add-on to anyone with a gmail account, especially those who are consistently checking it!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.7.1).
I used Forecastfox originally. Once I found this, I never went back. I love the option for animated and combo radars, and otherwise, it just works great. I've had no problems ever setting it up, and I recommend it to anyone (even in real life). Great to be able to easily check the weather before you have time to go outside, and without some trash being added to my startup within my OS.
I like this theme. It's got an old Mac OS look to it, but also has very unique icons with creative faded, deselected, hovered, clicked, and the like renditions. This is definitely something I could see me using. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.1).
The dark, chocolate, sort of color is fine. Aside from that, there's not a whole lot changed from the standard firefox strata theme. But it wasn't advertised as such. Full sized navigation buttons have a clip of green on the forward button that doesn't look quite right. I feel like this theme has potential, but it would be much better if the colors on the buttons were unified to really put contrast on the darkened browser colors. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.4).
This theme is very elegant. I love the search bar's green outline. I do, however, recommend matching the 'Verified Page' Green to it. Also, the padding on the menu items is a little much for me, including the full size navigation buttons appearing rather spaced to the right. The small size icons look just fine. But, none of this kills the theme what-so-ever. It's very sterile, and enjoyable, and I highly recommend it. Green accents are perfectly executed. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.11.2).
I feel like this would be a great theme for an older relative. The icons are very obvious and straight forward. Everything is very boxy. It's not exactly elegant, and it's not necessarily something I would use myself, but I would recommend it to someone who needs something obvious and basic to get them by.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.4).
Compact is the right description here. Compact to the point that I thought I was using small icons even when I was not. This is not a problem however, as the theme is visually pleasing, original, and creative. I love the Search bar's + sign to add a search provider, and I like how numerous icons change or animate when hovered over/clicked. I definitely recommend this theme. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.2).
Decent little theme. Not a whole lot was changed from the standard Strata. From what I can tell, just the buttons' hue were changed to a yellow-orange. If I could make a recommendation, the refresh and the home buttons seem really dim/dark prior to hovering over or clicking on them. Perhaps you could lighten them up? Just a suggestion. Good luck on getting the buttons altogether like you want!
