Simple and great, it still works perfectly also with the new Australis interface.
The only "issue" now could be that the old-style RSS icon doesn't harmonize well aesthetically with the rest of the interface, but it's a matter of opinions.

Why this was removed from vanilla Firefox is a mystery to everybody. Not only does it show the icon, but it fully works, whether there's one available feed, or multiple. I don't always have to check if a website has a feed, but when I do, I'm glad I have this addon to help me.

Been using it for a year. Works like a charm.

The grey background block of the icon is so ugly.

Glad to have it back! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a great feature to have in Firefox! It makes it a lot easier to subscribe to page feeds. It also works with the Omnibar addon, which might be a bonus to some.

Restores the old-school feed icon which confusingly disappeared somewhere amongst all new versions of Firefox. It's with great relief that this add-on yet again puts such a familiar face into the address bar and with great joy that I subscribe to ever more blogs and gets ever more happy and knowledgeable!

You are my hero. Thank you so much.

Seriously, how could the dev team remove it rather than just made it optionnal ? Once again, blatant disrespect for user choice.

doesnt always work Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Only shows the icon some of the time. On a page like http://marksmen.keenspot.com/, which does contain a link to a .rss, no icon is shown.

Works In Firefox 8 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It DOES work in Firefox 8, but you have to be on a site that contains a properly formatted RSS link element in its head in order to see the icon. Love it, thanks so much for giving me back my beloved quick & easy RSS subscription button!

It doesn't seem to work anymore (Firefox 8)! Oh no! I miss this extension!

Excellent add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Brings the RSS icon back to Awesomebar where it belongs.

The only (tiny) problem is that it doesn't display the RSS icon when you go back (using the Back button).
